traxxas thrasher Wrote:is that a broken CRT in the last pic??? gee what a surprise...lol

truggy looks nice

Look what's on the other side. . . in one piece. LOL MBX5T
I saw that wheel too. Thought something isnt right with that. Then saw the last one. NOPE!
As for losi stuff..Never was a fan. Had the LST come to try and race at our old track in Kankakee and everytime I saw one come in the door. I knew it wasnt going to last the night. And ofcourse,I was right. Anything from a hub to a wheel to an arm would break. If not all of those!
LOL! Broken CRT!!!! HaHahaahahaha

I donr understand the alum. Mounts for the rear shocks or the preload! Apperently they dont have springs for the truck yet! LOL
Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:Its amazing to see all the pros running the "basher" mt class for the extra track time at this race

What kind of trucks are they running?
mgt's, lst2's
I see.
Toughtrax Wrote:I think that it will turn out to be a good buggy, and the reason I think that is they have a good team of drivers that will be able to give losi good input of things that need to be changed and as was stated above losi is a very big manufacture so they have the big money and resources to do the tweaks that need to be done to it.

I agree. The first run LST's had a lot of durability issues, but with Drake's (and other drivers) feedback, Losi did a great job of correcting this with the LST2. Proof is in the standings. Before, the LST was getting destroyed on the track, now Drake is 1st A-main with the LST2.

I was one of those "Casualties". The LST would do great while warming up, but as soon as they started the timer, SNAP There went something. I really liked the LST when I had it, but the durability issues forced me to sell it. I now have a LST2, and the only thing that has broken on it, is a fuel tank, from a BAD landing off a quarterpipe at the skatepark. The A-arms, C-hubs and Axles (The main problems with the first LST) are all beefed up and a LOT stronger now.
Well there was even a guy that had a boat load of money into his LST for upgraded parts. Not much was left that was plastic on that truck in the areas where there were problems. It would still break. He finally sold it. I did hear they went back and changed alot of the stuff and now it holds up better.
I wonder if they will have to do the same with the 8 and 8-T
I am really surprised at the durability of the LST2, especially after seeing firsthand the problems with the LST. One reason the LST kept breaking, even after changing a lot over to Aluminum, is that the added stress was forced to other parts. With the Beefed up LST2 arms, they still take the force, without sending it elsewhere, but are strong enough to hold up to the abuse.

I would hope that Losi learned from the LST, and used that feedback to make their Buggy and Truggy right the first time around. I'm sure there will be some issues, being their first attempt at these types of vehicles, but hopefully not so bad as to never actually make it to the final race. Also, keep in mind, most of the problems with the LST were due to the size and weight of the truck. The 8ight and 8ight-T don't have that hurdle to overcome.
The drake could win with an LST2 box .... Not to dis your truck but you know what i mean.
Notice the freq Drake is using in MT?

Brown.

How come so few spektrum users????
they think its slower and at some big races guys had issues
prolly cuz nobody is using AM there and the drake doesnt care about Precise controls with an mt
brown isnt AM i used to run on 1-6 when i had my M8
I thought brown was am...
brown and all teh colors are 27 mhz which is Am and Fm, I had the Fm version
oh
lol
