even the stock proline wings are super strong boil them and they will last a whole season without cracking. I was really impressed with the hd wings those, i beat my buggy and truggy to death and they still look new
boiling them really helps?!!?
the stock ones yes quite a bit they dont crack that way
So boiling the K wing would be a good idea?
ya
5 mins?
whatever just throw it in there
lol

You can't overdo it. To dye mine orange I went 15-20 mins.
or just get the water up to a boil and shut the stove off and throw in the wing, take it out when the water is cool enough to put ur hand in
you would think exposing it to heat would make it brittle.... I know it doesnt because ive heard the "boil it" thing many many times before
since when does heat make plastic britter? your thinking of metal fire nerd
Heat does make plastic more brittle, because heat causes the moisture in the plastic to evaporate, hence more brittle.

Boiling does the opposite, makes the plastic more flexible by adding water content to the plastic. Bend rather than break.
ur talkin about like direct heat or putin a torch on it right?
I just turned the pot on until it boiled and shut it off, waiting till it cools now.

That's the same recipe for the perfect boiled hot dog, by the way. In fact, you could soften the wing and fix dinner at the same time.

Think about it.
:drool:Mmmmm....Too late! Dang...lol

By heat I mean putting it into an oven and baking it at say 150* to 200*. It would try the plastic out and make it brittle.

Where as boiling the plastic makes it much more flexible and helps it retain its memory better after being bent.
