hey dan this is off topic, but say i wanted to paint in college, my mom says that there is no way i could fit all the stuff in a dorm, i think she is full of chit. what do u think is there enough room or no lol
There is room for whatever you want to do. If your room mate is cool with it and you get creative, anyhting will work. See my other thread.....

michowski those are the same speakers that i have except mine is a 500 watt. their really nice.

I've got an older set of Mackie's that I use for recording, they are very sweet.. very clear, I like them a lot..

I'd think any of those would be fine for listening to music, you aren't looking for the same stuff I am, the cheaper ones would probably work great for you..

are they 500 watt max or rms? Mines 280 rms and they still impress me 2 years later.
