Does anyone have a set of blue aluminum front bulks for a tmaxx. I just bought some off a guy, and i thought they were for the front. Ends up they are for the back. I found that out after i put them on the front, and i couldnt stear because they were not the right ones. they were made to go on the rear. Took me four hours to put them on, then take them back off again, and put it all back together.. $@#!&*#$%@
i used to run the alum bulks on my maxx and found the new grey plastic bulks work better. i had indegy front and rear and after every qualifier i had to retighten them to the chassis.this is even useing lock tight. i have about 3 sets of front and rear i wount use cuz of this. screws broken inside of them cuz of them backing out. not one problem with the grey bulks after 6 races.
dont tell me that, i just stuck them on the back today. I had a set of rear bulks, and put them on today.; I'm gonna see how they work out. i'll let you know
Hate to give you more bad news, but the Integy bulks are the biggest pieces of @$#% i've ever purchased. I snapped the shock tower off them on the first crash. No joke. 5-minutes of run time and they were done. I'm not talking serious bashing, just flying around a racetrack at 2/3 speed (EVX w/Stock titans) and I landed off axis on a jump and it flipped the truck a couple times. No bending, it just "snap"ed clean off. Integy casts their parts then machines them. They are not billet. the gray plastic ones from traxxas are a better choice. If you want/need aluminum buy a pair from http://www.acncm.com/maxxfrbulk.html ($29.00pr) or http://www.fastlanemachine.com ($37.50 pr) both offer vastly superior strength to the Integy. Fastlane offers excellent customer service and a lifetime warranty. Just a reminder. Don not use aluminum body posts. The increase leverage (and increase damage) to shock towers & bulks.

If you have some cash to play with buy the 6061 or 7075 bulks from Great Assembly. They are the best ones on the market today. http://www.greatassemblyrc.com
i bought the traxxas bulks, and they are the strongest things ever, trust me. I beat the heck out of the with a hammer, trying to get a bolt out of them that snapped off, and that is after i heated the boltg for 10 minutes almost glowing red. And never even touched the bulks on e bit. They are very tough , trust me. I got them on now, and they look great
The thing is, we've all already owned traxxas bulks as well as better ones and Traxxas is OK, but not "the best"
they may not be the best. But if i can beat on them with a hammer, when they are about 400 dergrees or hotter and not bend. I'm not worried about them breaking, when they hit the ground. fi you know what i mean
