how much you got in your mini-quake Rusty Savage? $600+ ? lol

The only thing that needs to be upgraded besides tuning everything like suspension on the 18T is a new steering servo that runs, $25
The diffs should be fine, the people that have the problems with the diffs have Mamba 8000Kv motors and a 3s li-po. I think anything would have some kind of drivetrain problem with that much power.

its a bit but i bought mine when it first came out. if i were to do it again id buy the se version and go bl right off the bat. the se comes with ball diffs, alum cvd's, and alum knuckles. plus tower has the parts dirt cheap and around mid month every month they get crazy sales like ball diffs for 12.99! i have no prob keeping up with six in races untill he goes and put the 11.1 v lipo in!
I wasn't dissin you by any means, just curious is all. Your my boy Wink
its cool. i usally dont like duratrash but i really like my quake! the ae18's have parts every where, but if ya want to be differant the quake can hang baby!
yes....yes it can, it handles great from seeing yours on the track. Jumps more level than the mini-t's and rc18's which cuts down on the amount of crashes
so i wanna get an upgraded motor in the rc18t, just a good one no over kill (brushless) lol just for a small track off road and indoor racing.
Just get the brushless. You don't have to get a big motor, just get like a 4200 if you want, no maintence and I've never heard of anyone breaking one or having it blow or anything. And if you want to upgrade later on, you can just get a bigger motor and not have to worry about the ESC.

Yeah if you want slow go for the 4200, if you want some speed and 3+ hrs run times, get a lipo pack. If I get a mini again w/ brushless, I will be getting the Tekin 6800. I like the mamba, just heard the Tekin is easier to setup.
ill second that. Traxxas_Junkee
