Why is that just looking for a good starting point.
sets ups are very differnt between drivers,track,buggy and prefernce.. Thats why my good buddy slim said his info would be useless.. We dont know what you race/bash, where you run it or how you like your buggy to "act".
also all the shock oils are different, lets say slim has trinity 70 and you but AE 70 theyre gonig to be different

The consistancy of oils made by different companies are different. Like Trinity 60wt is equal to AE 40wt, etc... There is a whole science to it.
buy 1 oil make and stick to it. i like the losi stuff, its CERTIFIED to be right batch to batch... very consistant.
if your looking for a general oil to start... 50f - 40r will get you around the track on ANY car. unless its a hyper 7 lol. the 1.1 pistons are crap. gotta go down to like 35 in the front... just dont work well.
i run 70 in the front of the K car, but would never have worked in the xray.
Here are ACTUAL tests with very expensive machines.
use these charts as your bible to shock oil.
