Guys,
First, a big Thank You to the guys who setup and ran the party last night. Gabe, thanks for being the RingMaster of the ChiTown Circus, again! Congrats on the buggy win...just $600 more for a motor, pipe, servos etc and it's RTR!
Joe, thanks for hosting the raffles and helping the poor folks (me) with some deals now and then (sorry Bernie
).
Matt, Nice on the MiniT win!
For all of the guys I didn't get a chance to BS or even meet, sorry about that. I was the bald guy with the orange hat. After last night I know know why I don't want to attempt to race or even fun-run more than one truck! What a juggle! In the end my good-old Revo was the best deal last night. The TTR was being cold blooded and wouldn't start. The GT was also being finicky and ran down the starter box, so I only ran one tank thru it, but I did manage to keep it mostly on the wheels. Looped it a few times, but hey, it's a new truck and I need some practice. But the GT is a blast to drive.
Jerry, the Tazer paint W....O.....W. Too insane. And the truck itself, well, get those Ti axles going....
Dimo, continued thanks for the best damn RC forum in Chicago, if not the world!
Sorry to all of you that I:
a. ran into
b. got in the way of
c. jumped onto
d. crashed in front of
e. required you to marshall so much (very rusty Student Driver still)
So, again, thanks to those who put it together for us. I appreciate it and only regret that Ryan and I had to bolt out of there without saying goodnight and THANKS to some of the guys who were still on the track. Damn curfews on school-nights!
I'll be smiling and wrenching for about a week straight!
