My brothers car wouldn't turn over, tell me if you can see the diagnosis!!!!!




Inside the red circle is a crank journal. There is supposed to be a con rod attached to that!!! Also the hole in the motor is not usually there!!!!



Diagnosis, R and R motor!!!

I thought it was a new crankcase breather design.

I wish!!! I'm the one that has to replace the motor!!! 3800 series in a front wheel drive car! Kill me now!

I thought that was just a really big, greasy OS 18TM.

squrrel . Get a buddy wit a tow truck and drop it and burn it somewhere remote then report it stolen...

been there dun that moved to deisel much easier just heavier. Hey wait till you got to change out a 3.4 x motor in a grand prix it's priceless. The 3800's really aren't that bad though you'll be surprised hopefully lol

It's not the worst thing I have ever done. It just sucks that it's my first weekend off of the second job in 2 months and I have to spend it working on my brothers car AND NOT GET PAID FOR IT!!!!!!!!

Oh and Rocco, CALL HIM! I would be more than happy too. Just have to convince my brother to buy a new car!

I did a motor on a 06 Pacifica about a month ago, what a pain that was.

Yep most motor swaps SUCK!!! Especially on a transverse mounted front wheel drive car! But on the bright side I get to whack shit with a BFH!!!!!!!!!

Ya'll ought to try an engine swap in a MR Mack garbage truck, THAT REALLY SUCKS!!mash: mash: The truck is a cabover too, have to cut the awning off the front of the garbage body before ya even think of pulling it out! Ya'll got it easy there with that little thing! lolol Have funmash:

Rental car !!!!! We do more Rental car motors than anything. Anywhere from 3k miles to 15k miles

DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 18 hours later!!!! Got the motor fired in and started right up! Now to hope he doesn't blow it up again!!!!
