Put both of these on a scale to tell the weight diffrence. Both have spektrum both have 8 double a batteries installed.
Results.
M11 weight = 2 lbs 3.7 ozs
Z-1 weight = 1 lb 12.2 ozs

Nice scale Lol! Thats almost a half pound weight differance.

Wow...That wheel on the Z-1 is waaaaay down there, huh?

No not really its about in the same position as the m11 wheel right by the throttle, its really comfortable best feeling controler i've ever had.

But compared to say a DX2 it's pretty far down.

What is the advantage of having the wheel that low? More comfortable?

Yes, it feels better in your hands. Next time you see me at the track pick it up and see how you like it.

i use the z-1 for on road i like it alot the weight thing it not a big deal to me

im going to be using a m8 for off road {maybe m11 down the line} i just dont like to use my Z-1 in off road

Whys that?

Ive never had a problem with the weight of a the controller...

i just dont my Z-1 is for my on road cars
