"We got a chance recently to check out a pre-production version of the new Kyosho Mini Inferno when a few Kyosho hot shots brought it into town for a little testing. Jason Sams, one of our West Coast Editors, sat down with the Kyosho gang and got the scoop on this hottest new mini. Among other features, this machine runs on six alkaline cells or up to eight of the 2/3A-size Ni-MH cells. Additionally, it has a big 380-size motor, not the typical 280-size motor found in most other minis. The present schedule calls for a release date in February 2005, so it's not going to be here for Christmas, but it won't be much longer. Stay tuned for more info.

Pretty cool! Even has a fake engine cooling head to make it look like an Inferno....

saw it and want one. It will be my 1/8th scale 777's little brother

yeah and it has a fake little stinger...man, that will be the first thing to break off

I think it looks cool, and I'm sure just like some of the other mini's that have come out it will be a big hit! With Kyosho following, I'm sure there will be classes set up just for this mini.

yeah I've seen that. I like it! I'd love to see them make a rally car body for it. then it could be a 1/18 version of an 1/8 scale buggy or a larger rally car.

has anyone been able to find any pricing info on this? kinda curious as to what they will cost.

Saw one of these at Leisure the otherday and the thing was nice it actually could handle the track!
