Here are some pics and a quick vid I took up at leisure hours yesterday.

Track is going to be good. Surface is smooth and there was a good amount of traction considering they had little traction compound down and no rubber yet. They are still working on drawing up the final layout. Had a bunch of pics of different tracks to get ideas. Also, after looking at the pits it should work out just fine.

How come us off-road guys don't get tractioin compound? On-road guys cheat. LOL

It looks "softer" now....maybe now Travis Pastrana can come do a double backflip on it? yeeeeeeeeeeeeha..!

what is used on the infield, is it board 2x4's or some other material that is more forgiving?

If it is painted, doesn't that mean they wouldn't be able to change the layout?
Astroturf would be killer. Easily moveable as well
Remember the sketch of the proposed layout that was posted a while back? (The Scream face). It has many different routs and lanes that could be blocked off or opened up to create several easily changed tracks without moving infield sections.
did they stick to that plan?
Didn't look like it if you ask me. They may have been in a hurry to just put up a layout for the rcps.
