First a Double Back-flip (First time in X games history) and now he Just beat out Colin McRae in rally car!!!!!
I dont know if you watched it but travis was done for untill Colin rolled his ride on the last jump.... This cool part was he rolled completely over and ended up landing on his wheels and finishing the race just a second behind trav!
Saw it...still can't believe it. The front wheel landing by McRae looked like Mike Czech's avatar!!!
That was a wicked race. And he is a wicked kid. I wonder now if Rally racing will become the next thing here in the states.
I was watching it yesterday until about 8:45. I wanted to see him do the double backflip. Hopefully there will be a re-run.

I think that is the first time is has been apart of X-Games. But Rally Racing is a big thing over in Europe.

It has been on Speed alot. I forget who carries it now. There are groups here in the states too that do it. None around here I think. More east coast if I remember right.

Personally i think rally car is by FAR the coolest racing circut by far! Seeing the speeds those guy lay down on a constantly changing surface is disgusting!!!!!

Every race they hang it all out! Very cool! The only thing is i dont see it catching on in the states due too the sue happy nature in this country... When they're racing in say sweden, the fans are like 6 ft from the cars as they whip by... In america i can see it being totally over sanatized... Races on closed courses inside stadiums... Fans kept 800'ft from the race... Stuff like that... i hope thats not the case but i wouldnt be surprised

Haha I never saw the rally cars before. I like the street moto. Not sure if that is an event this year.

Yep,big air off the jumps. People standing just inches off the road(they race on normal streets in the country). It is a trip to watch the races.
Just saw the replay of Travis's double backflip. It was so perfect.
I was watching the games on HD tonight. There is a big difference compared to some other shows.
I saw that live yesterday. It was freaking insane. That is one very lucky guy for the life he lives. Anyone see the show of like his biography and the crib he lives in. OMG he is living my life.

I saw his cribs. Not sure if that is what you are talking about. I remember someone tried jumping into his foam pit on a little dirtbike and completly missed the pit.

did you know that 1 of the foam blocks cost 1 dollar and he has over 40,000 in the pit. Do the math
Yeah, they are not cheap to make. I was happy though when a skatepark about 45 minutes from where I live put one in. There so much fun to just do whatever you want or try to learn new tricks. Only problem is that it is in a warehouse and the pit collects dust.
his movies nitro circus 1,2,3 all show alot of stuff with the pits.theres one with one of his friends tries to jump in on a crotch rocket its funny....you just got to see it for your self
thats why colin lost the race to travis. That 5 seconds cost him. I wish I could have watched that whole race. Or any of it for that matter
That double back-flip was amazing. I cannot even begin to imagine what his mom was thinking. Travis said "I'm going to try the double back-flip and if anything happens just remember, I love you, and I'm only having fun." That is nuts. The reaction from everyone and then running up to his mom and apologizing and thanking her for her support was just amazing. I love extreme sports. I hope to see downhill and slope-style mountain biking in it someday.
