I love my 3.3. I wouldnt trade it or put it on the shelf for any free motor. I havent had any bad luck with it. Nothing but flawless results. My experience has been completly positive with that motor.
Well everyone says I will have to dump alot of money. What am I going to have to get? Keep in mind I already race a Revo at what used to be a track in Kankakee. Radio is not a problem, use a start box,so that is not a problem either.
top of the line of everything. Revo is definatly not as durable as a truggy but I wouldnt put it really far away from it either.
I have had nothing major besides 1 motor break on me. Other then that,it was a skid plate and the axle carrier, solved that with ones from PRM.
well then you get in the ring with the big dogs anyting is possible. They can bump ya the wrong way, even just the pile up at the start of a race can put you out. Trust me, ive spent the money and once I got a crt it was so much cheaper and it was a ton faster on the track as well. A crt will still break but its going to be a lot more durable then a revo on the track.
thats why just get an ST1 and be done with it Smile
Just bought my ST-1 sunday night. Time to get to work on it. The CRT's were just to much and most of them were on a 7 day listing.
good luck
well its still a step up Wink

I have heard of 'the grid' what is that. I am new here as you might see from my posts.
rc-racing.com its an online forum where all the pros and stuff go
very BIG online forum and info depository.

and they have this game with numbers......
k,thanks. Only thing I need to do right away is find a start box, this one is pullstart. And a new body. This guy painted over the outside because he didnt like the amount of colors on the stock one.
i have a revo "truggy" and it handles very well on the track. i would have definately bought a truggy if i had the money at the time. they seem to have more power and break less on the track..... my .02
yeah, that stock orange and blue scheme is pretty hideous....
Well now with this. Maybe during the winter or sometime in the future. I might turn the revo into a project truck. With the diff and 2-speed. I guess I can run either class at a track unless they want to follow RCPS rules or something. I would still like to find out. Maybe start with the 3.3 or .18tm EB mod. Then maybe step up to a .21 or .23 mill and go from there. But that will be after I dial this truck in and finish with my current revo.
id start with a .21 and ditch the 2 speed
