I dug out my Box O' Crap today. Needed a pull start motor with a time constraint. In my box o crap is a motor I got from a friend for free, said friend got it from some nobody who was going to trash about 3 Nitro cars, a HPI RS4, OFNA OB4 pro, and a Losi XXXT.

Suffice it to say, here we are. Don't have a start box so I went with the only pull start in the box.

No identifying marks that i can see, but the Carb says V-15 and so does the crank case. I got it to start up and run, idled well, good throttle response after I did a brief retune to make it run. However, I can't drive the car as I currently lack a working brake system.

I also have two non-pull start mills, both OS motors. A OS Max .12TR, and a OS .12Cv. The running conditions of both motors are unknown, other than going through them and prepping them for long term storage I only know that they have decent compression, don't know anything other than that.

So, anyone know what a V-15 would be? Any hints or possible suggestions would be helpful. My LHS is being their usual clueless selves. Either clueless or just don't really want to help out.
lets see a pic that would help
Or is it the RB V15

Now i need a pull start for one of the OS motors. Anyone know which one would be the better choice? The Max .12TR, or the .12CV.
