Here's a new Revo engine option by reputable manufacturer SH. They also make a motor mount and header/pipe, (search the site for it)

reputable engine manufacturer? SH keeps the blown engine thread alive on the grid lol
SH is most probably the largest manufacturer of RC engines in the world. It's true that most of those end up in RTR kits for newbies to blow up. That's not the fault of SH however.

Their new line of purpose built race engines are very promising.

BTW, George Schuth keeps the blown engine thread on the Grid alive... LOL!!!!!!!!
gonna be funny when the 3.3 blows past that little thing.

And then the 3.3 blows up....
most of the purpose built race SH engines are the ones that blow up cuz the materials are weak
sry but the 3.3 is the fastest small block on the market. The reason your 3.3 "blew up" is probly because of your lack of tuning abilities.
Interesting Mike, my SH P6 ProSpec .28 is their new race engine and I'm having very good luck with it. I'm actually getting their pt2004xb1, 8 port, .21 next.
Mich, Revo2k's didn't blow up he rolled it and broke the case, so it wouldn't be his lack in tuning ability, it would be his lack in driving ability.
the 3.3 made by traxxas arent the greatest is lasting long right now, mainly cause their bearings keep blowing up, thats what happened to mine, but theyll get it worked out
Let's try to stay on topic please...

BURN...................lol
the 3.3 motor does not get any longevity in most cases because they used the same rod and i believe bearings and increased the displacement putting alot of stress on those parts
yeah.....i blew up my rear bearing in 2 gallons
mike is right. The bearings and rod are identical in the 2.5r and 3.3. My 3.3 blew up in under a gallon.

Hey.... I could take you on the track anyday... That I have a working truck lol.

All I did was roll it, jeez.:p:
My buddy has had problems with his 3.3 also.
I saw the 3.3 in action wasnt impressed.
wow, my 3.3 has no problem running temps of 210 and making 45,000 rpm. Proper maitence and tuning will justify how long a motor will last. If anyone cares to have a grudge race of the small blocks let me know so I can whoop on you all with some 3.3 power. Also my motor is over the 2 gallon mark and still has great compression. No reason why it cant get 10 gallons right now.
ya but u dont race anymore so it doesnt matter....Smile
i still got the truck, Il even give these guys a break and not put one lap on the track untill the clock starts and we race.
Here's Destroy_my_revo_15's con rod from the 3.3....

Great, ain't it?

Sorry for the bad pic.
you can say what you want but my 3.3 is awesome. I havent had any complaints. Il be willing to have one last race and show you all what a real engine is made of Wink. Also powered by traxxas 33% fuel on top of it. Any takers let me know.

Ive owned more than my share of SH engines and only had one go bad early and that was the SH .28 other than that the 24/7 pros are the Shizzzzzle.... I cant speak for there small block but the mach line of engine rock toooooo.
