That doesn't really even show for the vette though.... I can do that in my eurotrash car. LoL

As for the GTO... POS! It is a rebadged Holden Monaro. Absolute discrace to the old GTOs and never should have been named such. I hope Rocco smacks them around every time he pulls up to one.

It is all about ld mopar. Challanger, Charger..... you get it.
Totally smack those push rod LS2's bro!
All I can say is nothing made my day like when I saw a GTO try to race, lose, and then end up driving under the back of a semi on the highway. Hood go crunch.

I toy around with my little euro toy right now but after college that is it for 4 cylinders. This will stay my daily driver. I plan on building an R32 (my only v-6) and then some old mopar muscle car for the real track/show toy.
ill say one thing u got a built all motor LS1 against a built all motor mustange the LS1 will walk all over it..
Well my dad's car can beat your dad's carConfusedmash:
Rocco, hot air extractor....good one. As long as it's functional....

Pontiac was always the king of the decal kits, in my book. Remember the MASSIVE firebird decals on the hoods of TA's in the middle 70's? I worked at a Poncho dealer in 1976 and vividly recall the guys in the body shop installing a new hood decal...what a project! It was like a wall paper job with a 4 foot square.
it is dave... The cobra hood doesnt have that scoop.... Its an indentation
For the built Mustang Vs. Built Vette arguement.... look at the price difference. The vette should smoke a built mustang. On the other hand I bet a built Notch has run a faster time on the track than a built vette.....
Roc, whatever you gotta tell yourself to feel better....Wink
Yeah, it's kinda like when you realize you're so far into making a Savage into a racer and you can't back away from it, no matter what, you have to do whatever it takes to make it work......but in the end, you know switching to a Revo would have been faster and cheaper.

jpwy...I love ya man.
ok, just got done doing some research on the possible new camaro, and heres what i got, base v8 engine LS2 badge it SS, 350 Cubic in alum block. stick a LS7 in it and badge it a Z28, 427 Cubic in alum small block, and possibly even a LS9 based Camaro badged ZL1, which is basicall a super charged LS7. but these are all rumors at this point becuase GM still hasnt decided on what they are going to do at this point but there are some good and interesting possibilties. Smile
I saw it in a magazine at the doctors office, they had all of the specs on the different models, I though it was car and driving but I went on their website and couldn't find it. It might have been motorweek if anyone wants to look.

I don't think the Savage compared to a COBRA is all that accurate at all...

BTW... It was a force to be reckon wit in its day... Ask tune!
When I get out of school I am buying a junker old challanger. That will be my project car. I don't care how many hours I need to put into it, or how much it will cost. I WILL own a challanger with a built hemi.
Hemis are overrated...
so over rated that all top fuel cars and about all funny cars use the hemi..

I don't care if it's over rated or not.... I will have one.

In street performance it is... Handsdown.

Now if you wanna dump 22.75 gallons of nitromethane through it in one run and 45 psi of boost thats a differnt story...

Lets stick to comparing apples to apples....
I'm partial to Chevy but mostly because the LSx engine though.. easy to work on and stupid power for very little cost.

All I can say is with the 3600 stall, built trans, airbox lid and cat back in my car running MT drag radials I clicked off a 12.68@105 with a 1.76 60' a couple weeks ago at Byron. That is with the stock 2.73 highway geared rearend too... it shifts into 3rd as I cross the 1/4 mile actually lol! Stock the car ran a 13.46 @104.

ford vs chevy though... Bahh.. a car is a car and if someone puts the time and money into meaningfull and clean package its all good with me weather its a ford chevy, honda whatever... I just don't like the idiots with 17 sec honda civics, cellicas, and junk that think they can beat the world becuase they have loud exhaust and gauges lined up across the dash.
