I haven't gotten around to painting the clearn body included with the car, I was more concerned with getting it up and running. Still needs a micro rx to be complete, but I've found a way to make a regular size Rx fit under the shell.

So here she is.

Using a OFNA Am Tx/Rx combo that came of my Ultra Comp2, works fine with what i'm doing with it.

JR z270 servo for steering, and a Novak 4.5R brushless setup for power. I still need to buy a LiPo and charger for what I really wanted out of this car, but with a crappy 3,000mah pack it does okay, the 4.5R motor drew enough current that i overheated the cells in my 3,000mah pack and it hasn't had quite the punch since.Sad. Everything rolls freely and the diffs aren't locked.

I didn't get a decent decal set with the clear body so I can't make it look like anything rigth now. So I instead made a basher body. Its pretty fun and decently fast, somewhere in the 40's with the crappy pack, and stock gearing (meant for a mabuchi Sport Tuned RS540 motor. Stock motor mount isn't adjustable so I can't put a smaller pinion yet)

WOW....thats nice lookin
Cool. I like it.
Its alittle big but i changed it so we didnt have to click the link... Hope you dont mind!
I dont' mind, I had it as a URL because I thought it might be bigger than the rules would allow for.

But hey, I'm all for big pic goodness. Now i need some good lighting cause my camera sucks.
Sadly, its a crappy digital camera, and I didn't have anyone to even hold the camera.

Novak 4.5 brushless setup, and I have to charge the batts at 1amp or I get crappy output and runtime. But it runs pretty good. Maybe as fast or a bit faster than my jato. Its hard to tell but its definitely quick.

and the video. Sorry for the crappy angle, my battery doesn't last very long in the camera when I do video's.

damn that thing looked fast as hell. I had to watch it twice to see the car.
the full carbon fiber body looks cool as hell...
That thing looks fast as hell!
Should have video's with a better angle as soon as they finish compressing for the net.

I moved my real car over and used it as a camera tripod.Big Grin
Here ya go, a slightly better angle, though still a crappy camera.

The front tires had grooves........

Two days later they are bald as can be. Thankfully even bald they provide excellent grip and this little car screeches to a halt within 10 to 15ft even from full speed. Unlike the Jato which needs a freaking huge distance to brake thanks to its rear braking only.
Looks real good man, now bring it over so i can play with it:joy:
Gonna need some batteries. This thing pounds a 3,000mah pack down in 5 to 7 minutes. Confusedmash:
Trinity makes a stick pack that is GP3300 cells, they provide excellent power for not being matched, they are price like $30-35 each, and can take the amp draw that the novak dishes out.
man how much for the carbon fiber body? nice
Its not really carbon fibre. Its just an odd decal of somesort on the inside of a lexan shell. Comes with it stock. I chose the carbon fibre one becuase I eventually want to get the clear shell painted up like a F1 car.

Freaking fast little RC car. Stops on a dime.
mike, I want you to paint me a full carbon fiber body for my revo! looks trick.....
