Well after 1.5 gallons, i decided to snap a few pics of it to show what good shape its in. The piston isn't even black or brown yet, because its never been ran over 250 degrees or under 210 degrees. Its a great engine for a racer or basher. The last pic of it is to show the comparison of it up against a true BB, a Savage S-25.

That! Is what it is supposed to look like. Very nice.
Yeah, my cousin taught me how to tune on a crappy 2.5 when i first got into nitro r/c's, and i guess it stuck with me. Funny thing is i'm only 14, and i can tune better than most of the people that race at the hobbytown usa in crystal lake.

Really.... that motor looks good man. At 14 with that you can prove a lot of people wrong.
nice, technically it has been run at under 210, it starts at the outside temp Wink LOL
thats nice....but you could lean that sucker up a little more and get some more power. I run my revo 3.3 at 230-270 and that thing rips and it still has a oarnge look like that, with a slight brown c....the c is very faint. good engine BTW
lol okay, operating temps after being properly warmed up never were under 210 lol!
