Good. Now it will auctually take skill to race those onroads...

just kidding of course Confusedmash:

Track looked fine when I was there, just after they paved it. They were drilling holes around the edge, probably for the fence or what ever.
I'm sue it's gotta be tough to lay down blacktop smooth enough to make 1:10 cars run perfectly! Just tell the contractor to be 10 times as precise......right!

Can't wait to see the guys run it.
"wooby" ?
whoopy?
yeah i saw it........one of the reasons theyre concerned with the "WOOBYNESS" is cause when it rains, then you have puddles of water on the track, so thats not good
I'm sure they can get a 1:10 streamroller and drive it around to level it out
pictures????

imsure it will workout just fine
True dat, but you know how on-road guys are. 5mm ground clearance and they never like getting air....they want it flat!

sissies........jk guys
LOL @ Dave!
The bad spot is not in the run line. it will be in the painted grass.
"Painted grass"? lol...Guess you couldn't plant the real stuff on the on road track huh...
How wide are the lanes? Once I get a little "Wheel time" with the Inferno, I would like to check it out, but if the lanes are too narrow, I wouldn't want to be get in the way...
Bernie, are you planning those 10 degree concrete corners with the red paint stripes like the other on road tracks?
thenewguy821,
im sure it'll be wide enough to run go-kart races if this rc thing doesnt work out Big Grin

They have more space on the on-road side so I wouldnt think the lanes will be any smaller than the off-road side and its about 10ft. wide.
I think the track will be GINORMOUS and FAST. Bern told me an 1/8 will have no problem wringing out 2nd gear with speeds at around 70mph. I dont own an onroad but will be fun to watch.

Just hope those walls are high enough around the edges to catch a 70 mph car lol
Dont be in the way when they crash
I can see it now. Me and roc sporting identical red viper rs4's, top speed on the straight, one of us get's confused and follows the wrong car, only one rs4 turns, the other...will make for good filming....hahahahaha
The outer lane will be 14 ft. the inside lanes will be 12 ft. We went to painted grass because of the fact we had a hard time drying the ground to blacktop. Don't want the water to get under the blacktop and freeze in the winter.
Yes Bruce it is in the plans. but maybe not concrete.

Mr Tune I have a good story about something just like that
Tune!
I see it happening too!!! LOL!
