How bout instead of IMO.. Being rather spinless and bitching on a forum, why wouldnt you confront a problem head on?? Like by addressing that gentlem face to face???
Wow now I feel bad.... I didn't know Bob had a wooden leg
Bio you got PM

rocco..I missed any attribution...who are you addressing?
bubba, I'm disappointed. I didn't get a locker and towel service, and I've yet to see any water in the new hot tub at the new place.

when will the jacuzzi be ready?
You ...

Its in reference to you guy with one leg thing...

I dont understand why grown men/woman need a forum to complain??? It to me, seems like you all want to be bold but with the saftey of being faceless...
let's see....you said I should complain in person face to face...right?

Not sure I get your point.

I said this internet forum should have a place that allows a negative or complaining posts.

who am I to complain to about this forum?

Do you mean that if I have a bitch about LH that should take it up with Scott/Bernie/Mike/John at the track?
Yes
Look im too tired to continue this...

If you have a problem with LH... Tell the LH crew in person... I and the rest of the mods dont want it here.. Out of respect for the facility .
bernie beat me too it... I kept changing my post...
Bubba:

what if I want to discuss something that I don't like with others? It's something that's a negative and I just want to discuss it, Maybe I want to see if my point is valid, Maybe I just need a place to rant.

I wouldn't do it in Scott's forum, because I wouldn't want to taint his website for possible new customers.

I'd want to do it here because this is a place that a ton of regular customers visit and read comments and I'd know that I'd get feedback good and bad, funny and not funny.

Now, so you know....the object of my possible negative post isn't to possibly hurt biz at LH, it's about me just wanting to rant. I might not even want a change to happen at the track.......

You saying that is a bad thing?

Also....you can take out "LH" and insert "track of your choice"..to make this thread objective.
rocco...I don't have a prob with LH.

I'm talking conceptually here....about the need to have a place to rant.

jeeze.

Am I not clear?
am i not clear?!?!?! THIS ALL STARTED over a rant about LH thats why i am so antmit about leaving the LH rants at LH!!!

Thats what the thread closing thread was started , no???
This is ridicious...
Im going to bed...

Have fun complaining and ranting.
Rocco,

you've turned the thread into a Monty Python skit:

Got it and replied---kewl dude
oops double post
Bottom line---I agree with the LHR bashing rule and if there is a problem you should take it up with them personally---may be more productive.
Really LHR has their own forum and that would be a better place for it than in here.

I did bitch about my first time there at LHR but I also gave it a chance as many encouraged me to do -MIKE you know who you are.
It became more pleasing as I went back several times.

So lets let the LHR stuff go and get back to closing threads here
Bio, Dont always think your going to get bashed on because you post something. You make valid and respectful posts, maybe some guys dont want to hear it but you do it in a respectable manner with a clear intent of not trying to piss anyone off.

For the record, Kenji is a good guy that races with his son.
There are not many open forums that let you bash, rant and bitch about someone, place or business. Although i did agree with some of the things being posted on that thread, i did not agree with the posting of them being in a unrespectful manner (like i have room to talk) but there was some pionts made. Never-the less, there are rules to be followed.
all im saying is if someone has a problem with the way the place (here) is being moderated, then maybe they should go to the bookstore read a book on html scripting and build there own forum where they can do what they want without bothering the good people in here. Lots of the guys here quit using the traxxas forum, why becuase they didnt like how it was being moderated. Torres said it well if you have a question ask in a respectful manner but dont get all but hurt if you dont get the answer you want, and don't continue to ask the same question just different words over and over again it's stupid. Theres nothing wrong with going against the grain every once in a while but if you do it all the time people will get tired of hearing it, and eventually let you know. The internet has made a lot of people very brave and im not trying to single anybody im sure most are guilty of it at one time or another but i bet if we were all in a room talking about rc related issues it wouldnt get quite as disrespectful as it does sometimes on the internet. I love this forum becuase becuase the people that use it are very nice a knowledgable for the most part and will go out of thier way to help out anybody that needs it,and have a good sense of humor while they do it, if it wasn't for this forum i would ahve probably given up on my revo when i first started and not been in this hobby today. Thank you for listening
Bruce asked about "where are the racers at LHR?"... maybe it was a loaded question, maybe not.

When the thread turned into a comparison of flushing toilets versus hotdogs and pizza, it became a dialogue on the "possible reasons" why there weren't more people at the track on a given day. This came to be viewed as a question that crossed into an area of discussion related to LHR that long ago was deemed off limits on this forum and therefore was automatically locked.

I was shocked it went as far as it did, with mods sparring with Bruce over the whole matter. If the desire is to cut off LHR negativity, EVERYONE should either not post the negative, or attempt to defend the negative statement. Why get sucked into a debate on a topic that has been dragged off course?

The first Mod who sees the thread going south should clamp it down, per the forum rules (Everyone must read these...that stuff..the fine print).

Useful information should stay.

Questions about peoples opinions or conjecture on a topic need to be in the IMO/off topic forum...not the LHR forum.

I think it was a legit question and was not loaded---in fact it should be asked for others to know.

I hear ys and your right---the possible reasons started leading offcourse

Well we all have something to learn by this and being in the open can bring diffent views that are good as well. Also- this issue has been around for as long as I have been in here with topics and negative statements

The first Mod who sees the thread going south should clamp it down, per the forum rules (Everyone must read these...that stuff..the fine print).
That is what I really wanted to say---get in there and do somthing before it get out of hand---a warning would be in order verses closing it.
Useful information should stay. That is where the editing the posts should be done---get the crud out of it

Questions about peoples opinions or conjecture on a topic need to be in the IMO/off topic forum...not the LHR forum.---Each thread should have opinoins in them "PROPERLY and RESPECTFULLY" that is the key. That is also what keeps the topics going and can help others to be corrected on views
Kenji, if you have any problems with the forum here, please PM myself, Rocco, cemeb4dk, Mr. Tune, snakebite, we are all moderators and choosing just one of those people to voice your opinion to would get any of your issues discussed with the "board members" here in our moderator forums.

Tex - Gabe Guild
cemeb4dk - George Schuth
snakebite - Rich Styrczula
Rocco - Rocco Zoccolli
Mr. Tune - John Dimo
SixVi6Camaro - John ?? (some polish name ..lol)

the LHR forum subject field says "All LHR discussions belong in here".

Maybe that should be changed or modified?
