ok im debating on either getting the maxx velocitys....or the maxx 1/2" offset velocitys wheels.

which is better?

do I want the extra 1" of wheelbase or no?
For racing no offset.
yes it is for racing.......so i should just go for the maxx velocitys?
Yeah, no offset.
Yeah
ok....sweet saved me a WHOLE $2...........lol
depends on your driving style as to what rims to get. A stretched revo with offset wheels actually works fairly well. You can carry more speed through turns with a wider offset. Standard offset slices through the turns and you can push the offsets a little harder and slide.
what do you have tex??

I dont think i need a wider truck, cause i dont really have rollovers becuase of turning to shrply
standard offset is what all my rims are
thought I was going to read about tires, not wheels....

LOL sorry just had to be a smart a##
yeah i meant to say wheels......not tires............but thanks for being a smart a$$.....lol j/p

okwell i think im going to go wuth the velocitys and if i dont like them then i will later go to 1/2 offset

thanks for the help guys, kevin
Your Revo is the longer version, correct? A little wider track width (not wheelbase) might work fine, depending on a whole lot of outher factors involving suspension, tires, track conditions, etc...

Lots of guys use the zero offset velo's and you could prolly "try before you buy" if you ask someone nicely! You might find the setup you like best during a loaner session, and avoid a costly mistake on wheels.
Instead of velocities, you could use the racer's edge white dish wheels. They are 1/2 the cost and just as durable IMO.
sure, don't support the Factory Sponsor of The Czech... Blasphemy...
ok....thanks tune ill look into it
Tune, you mean Dynamite? Cause I saw your wheels and they were the same as mine and mine are dynamite. They are $13 for 4 rims.

Yeah, I used those when I was running 14mm rims.
Lol, now that you mention it, I don't remember exactly. I know leisure stocks em though (that's where I got them).
tune i just called them....they said they would have to order them up............so i dont know if that means they stoped stocking or they ran out
Prolly means they ran out. When I got mine it was the only set they had in stock (this was like 2 months ago). Maybe their hot sellers and hard to keep in stock?
They will be now.....
I'm 99% sure your speaking of the Dynamite ones that are a bit coned in in the center of the rim. I got mine at Leisure also.
yeah tex those are the ones..................yeah I guess LH just ran out of them thats all
I found that when i ran MT i actully had alot more steering coming out of a turn with the wide maxx style wheels...

For my style i much prefered this... I could dive hard into a corner and still hold a rather tight line. When switched to standard offset i noticed a big loss in cornering out of the turn and very little to no gain in turn-in...

I realize i had a fat sloppy savage but it was heavily modded for racing...

Just my .02 hope ive helped alittle.
Thanks
Yeah tex, you are correct. It was the dynamite wheels. Here's a link to them on amain. Much better deal than the prolines.
