Anyone ever been there? We just bought a condo in this complex http://www.lazydaysresort.com/

we are going to head down there this August. Just wondering if anyone else has been down there before?

(I should mention that it is my dads business that bought it for him and his 3 brothers, but one of his brothers already has 2 of them down there, and the other one has no clue about boats so probally won't use it that much, the third one goes down there once in a while and just rents boats so we will most likely be the ones that use it the most)
Yep..many times. We stayed at Tan-Tar-A Resort which is near Osage Beach, and I have also been to the Lodge of Four Seasons.

Lots of nice golf courses there, and tons of huge power boats on the water. Lot's of big money homes around there.

And they moved Party Cove a few years back, but if you have a boat, it's a "must see" Big Grin. Bring the camera!

It gets HOT in the late summer.
bought??? or rented??
Great fishing and very beautiful!
Bought, yeah we were at party cove once. The last time we were down there it was literally 110 and the water was like 95, but we took like a 1.5 hour ride on the waverunners to a spring that someone told us about, it was nice, it was a cold spring and we jumped in, the water had to be like 50-60 degrees it was awesome. I can't wait to go down there, where the condo is, you have your own private covered slip. Yeah Dave my uncle and his inlaws have condos down there, my uncle has a $110,000 Fountain boat, and his inlaws have a dual motor boat that cranks out just under a 1,000 HP. I don't remember the make of the boat. He told us it was about $250,000, by their house on the Kankakee my uncle and him had it up to about 112 and it wasn't full throttle yet. Big Grin
The water on the "lake side" of the bridge gets so choppy down there...almost impossible to ski. But if you like go-fast boats, that's the place. I looked up your place, very nice location right there! Can fellow ChiTown members use it when you're not home? jk
Yeah my dad decided to take our pontoon boat under the bridge! LOL!!! very fricnk ruff!

Gotta pay, but I'll see if my dad can get you a discount. Smile
Traxxas Junkee, sign up at http://www.showmerc.com There is a group of guys from the Lake in the Ozarks there. I'm sure they could hook you up with some decent tracks in the area. If you go to that site, look for LakeMaxx.
OK thanks Newguy, I doubt my parents are gonna let me bring any RC's except for maybe the mini-t. If I had something else that was electric i could probally bring that but with the nitro you need to lug alot more stuff around.
Nitro BOAT!!!!
Nah, I am looking into getting an electric though, you have to lug too much stuff around with nitro.
Fuel bottle versus battery charger....I call it dead even.

Now if you only have bump start, that's a different story.
Yeah, but I bring alot of stuff for nitro, fuel, fuel bottle, temp gun cleaning stuff. I need alot more tools for nitro. Like my mini-t i need 2 different size screwdrives 1 size hex and a pair of needle nose and thats about it.
I agree, for a quick run, electric is simpler (I have a Mini T also). For extended sessions, electric needs "stuff" also.
Well I finally broke down and bought one.

Were leaving Friday morning for the lake! Can't wait to try this thing out.

I didn't notice you posted about "party cove" but our condo is literally one cove away. It will take us about 2 minutes to get there once we get out of the no-wake zone around our docks.

I'm gonna run it first to see how it is, then we will see. Smile
Well CEN got an E-Mail from me today. Sad

just purchased a CEN Aquajet (electric). I have been pretty happy with it so far, well I went to run it today, plugged my battery in and the ESC started smoking. Needless to say this really ticked me off! I need to know what I need to do to get this fixed. I would hope this would be under warrenty as I have not even had the boat for a week yet, I bought it last tuesday (April 3rd) I bought it for the intent of using it on vaction, well now that isn't going to happen, I got here yesterday and now I have a boat that is totally useless. I have heard alot of good things about CEN and their products, that is why I wasn't worried about buying this boat, well, I guess I will think again this time before buying another one of your products.

Thanks Kyle.
its not necassarly there fault the esc blew.
It has 4 runs on it. Who's else fault could it be? It didn't get wet, all I did was go to run it, I plugged it in and it started smoking. I would say that is a manufacturer's default.
