Ehh..You just need a truck with some (alot) of motor behind it, and good accel is needed but top end is too so you just got to find the middle of the road setup. I will say though that the revo's with center diffs were at an advantage over the ones w/o it.Smile

Great pics Slim. Looks like they got the turn after the doub doub doub in pic 2 nice and smooth compared to a couple of weeks ago (rocks and the turn was hard to judge) I think with the white things around the corner there it'll be easier to hit that corner faster.
Is all pitting done inside? It looks like there weren't any racers real vehicles near the track, and that you park in the paved parking lot and walk in the front door. Just wondering if I should even pack the EZ-up? I'm assuming there's electric under the driver's stand
Kenji Outside pits are not done.

gotcha. I'll leave the EZup behind and pack my big deep cycle battery for outside juice. I'll make Cooper carry it.
made some changes to the track. I'll do some changes each week so you'll have a diffent track each week to run on.:joy:
wow, your a fast worker bernbot
Can't wait to come out this Suday, like always.
Even if you only bash and not race you owe it to yourself to get to the outdoor off road track.

The track is AWESOME. We've never run on anything like it. It's a totally different experience than Leisure's indoor track. The opportunity to be on FULL THROTTLE with an 1:8 scale for long periods of time is really cool. And as usual all the guys we ran with and met in the pits were really helpful and friendly.

We were there yesterday and practiced using the Mayhem and our electric T4 and B4's.

If you going to run electric use a mod motor and gear up. I tried a bunch of different tires and so far Bow Ties or newer Hole shots seemed to work the best. I'm also going back to try reptiles, gladiators and also want to get some Komodo's...for the buggy we had step pins.

On the back straight with the B4 and a 12 single I was able to pass some MT's and just be about 1 second behind 1:8 scales. With the buggy running alongside all the nitros if you take your time through all the tight curves you can keep ahead of most people on the track.

Man, that was fun!
LOL glad u had fun. I will prolly try to make it there sunday. We will be at Mahomet on saturday
