I was at the track sunday and my buggy was doing fine then in the first qualifier my connectring rod broke below the wrist pin and it put a hole in the engine case. the engine temp has never been over 275

HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD PROBLEMS WITH SPORTWERKS ENGINES OR DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?
i had one that had some ah-hem, time on it... it broke at lincoln, and sonny brown took it, and a while later i had me a brand new one...

do like we said, send it in....horizon is AWESOME for warrantee.
i sent it in and they sent me a brand new v2 .26 engine you guys were right!
see! good job on sending it in.
thats how those SH motors are, they are fast, but very little durability
it seems that the Sh motors that dont have the bushing at the wrist pin have the durability issues....

Ive had 3 24/7 pros and i feel i got more than my monies worth outta all of them...

I had an an sh .28 that blew the rod at like 1/2 gallon though... No bushing

I coulda sworn there was a bushing there when I blew the rod through the case on the SH.... But IDK lol.
