Yeah, John 88.7. So everyone has XM and no Sirius?
Rocco, listen to 91.5 fm NPR. Maybe you'll learn a few things of interest...
Tex Wrote:92.3 and 107.5 baby, they still play the good chit if you are a Rap/R&B guy like me.
I ain't hurtin', I do feel sorry for you Rockers though
+1. I also listen to The score 670am, espn1000 and an ipod of course Smile
Ditto, I use my IPod for everything but trips around the south part of West Chicago (not much point for a 5 minute or so drive.) I did find what might be a college station that is decent by accident this past weekend. I think it's 89.1 fm but I'll double check on that when I go on lunch in an hour or so.
Yeah... ive heard that one joe... Its O-kayish.....

88.7 doesnt make it up here..
Roc, it's time to man up and get satellite radio!
Ive got two VERY more expensive things too buy right now....
Go Ipod, it's a one time purchase, then you can put YOUR music (or pics or videos) on it. I just picked up the A/V cable for mine, just haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
I have the 4gig
Any one diggin the fridays throw back 103.5 is doin!?!?! early 90's hip hop and rap. man... wrecks n effects! mc lite, technotronics, young mc, who ever sings "back to rita and the big ole butt"!!!!! c'mon! crazy ness!!!!
Rocco, get the 20 gig Ipod and I'll fill it up for you with all kinds of great metal! Dragonforce rules baby!!!!!!!!!!
I feel your pain rocco, I was just saying this last week. The main thing I listen to now is a mix between the stations you first listed. I just keep flipping untill I either find a good song or flip on the cd player. Il be getting some sirius soon so hopefully the problem goes away.
ive got a 4 gig bruce... I still cant think of enough songs to even fill 1/4 of the way!
Rusty, yes I kinda been diggin' that. I like Latin hip/hop (freestyle as it's called here) so I'm likin' the throw backs. The old rap is fun to listen to again also.
Rocco just get sirius and be done with it. Ive had it for about a month now and I listen to it everyday. Wether it be driving somewere or listening to it over the internet at home. They even have a new device comming out thats about the size of an ipod that lets your have portable sirius anywere you go LIVE. Its a satellite radio walkman with live broadcast. Octane has to be my favorite station for rock. Its well worth the 12 bucks a month just for this station.
o ya and not to mention they play a lot of new bands that kick ass.
anyone listen to the new morning show on Q101? any good?
Still hasnt started.. They said about a week and a half more of music in the morning
ipod for me if i didnt have one i would kill my self
Try 95.1. On most days,I can pick it up while I am driving north on Lagrange around 95th st or so. Today,I was able to get it in orland park and I think they are out of Kenosha,WI. Basicly they are like the Zone both with the morning show and during the day. And they play the same rock music the zone played also.

As for morning radio as in Mancow,I wish he was on. I do miss hearing him on the radio. This new Q101 stuff will blow. I have no doubt in that.
Try listening to Bob and Tom in the morning on RXQ sometimes the stuff is funny. Sometimes.
They are all I had when I worked down in Pontiac. It was fine for about a week then I couldnt stand them for more then 10minutes.

Another reason for sirius. Its got a wide variety of everything. Blue collar comedy guys, raw dog, howard stern, cnn news, rap, rock, oldies, country, heck any kind of music its got. Its got talk shows, play boy. Best part it most of the channels are commercial free. Longest commercial I ever listened to was the announcer talking for about a minute promoting band tours and that was it. Im definatly hooked on it now.
Guys, Check out O and A on 105.9 in the morning. They are where Mancow got a bunch of his bits, and are currently keeping XM radio ahead of the battle with Stern on Sirrus.
got a link to the poles?
