Yeah no lights yet.Sad They should sell mag-lights, glow sticks, and duct tape. Make a killing offa it for those night races :p:
Tex practice is from 4 to 9 til we can get the lights up. And Saturday the 24th practice will be 9 til 2. racing starts at 3.
I'll be there thursday around 7pm Smile

Cool... We can race and not have to worry about getting stuck up on tubes!
well anyone go and how was it?
Freggin awesome!

Track was a bit loose, great for sliding around the corners. The K2T was awesome! I like the komodo dragon LP's alot.

Gabe, we need to race when I get back from vacation!
dude idk if your not aware but u run truggy and he runs smt. but anyways it was awesome a bit loose but it was fun sliding through corners. had some engine probs at the start but gabe came to the rescue. thanks again
Race as in screw around like cat-and-mouse lol

Are you still looking for light poles?
George, the track was awesome, tons-o-fun! I thought we had great traction out there, nice and moist. It did tend to dry out a little and that was very welcome. I kinda like my outdoor tracks loose, I'm used to it. A dry track will help separate good and bad drivers. It's all about finesse.

The layout is fast and fun. Some parts take some getting used to. I couldn't hit the big tripple with the Revo but the trugs and bugs were hitting it no problem.

I wonder why though you couldn't make the tripple. I think I saw another revo or 2 make it, IDK. All you really have to do is swing wide on the turn before and avoid the huge tire track left by a car there? lol

I now know that for boa's to be run well I need to gear down. I tried them first and they were soso, but then I threw on the komodo's and damn! Those were awesome. I had so much power that after the back straight I drifted down and around the turn most of the time.

I noticed one part on the track that most everybody was having trouble with. Right before the front straight, there's 3 doubles in a row, and a right hand turn and another double. The 3 doubs were so far away and similar in color that they meshed almost with each other and you couldn't really tell where one ended and the next began except by how your truck was bouncing around. And then the double around the corner was visable, but hard to judge and the dirt in that corner was super loose.
After you went past those, for some reason the beginning of the straight was soaked, your shoes were coated with mud if you had to marshall over there lol...

Overall it was awesome. The pits outside have a nice little shelf under them for stuff. Theres this sweet downhill part where you don't even touch ground. Theres a little dropoff at the top of the hill, and when you hit it right, you're just at the bottom ready to turn.

I did traction roll a couple of times, but oh well. Man this truck can take a beating!! And this track can give one! At the end of the night, a man came up to me and pointed out I busted my shock, probably off of the triple. I pulled the shaft out of the bottom, like the threads in the shock end stripped. I got home and just drilled a hole in the shock end, and put a setscrew in there to hold the shaft in. Works fine.

If you have shock boots and socks available for your truck guys, I would reccomend that you get them and install them pronto. With all the dust out there I'm figuring that it'll make short work of a shock shaft.
