Got mine today.. Looks ok, but i have officially changed the name. My CRT is now powered by a Rocco 5000. and I am runing the RZ79 tuned pipe. A few quick thing I noticed. Tehy use standard hexes on head and other screws. Thanks God they give you an allen key.
Also the engine sits rather tall, not good for a Low center of gravity. Also not sure if they were in the pics Mike posted the actual button head snaps into sleeve, and the sleeve lip is outside of the case. Rather a unique design that I have never seen.
its not standard its metric, they dont use american sizes in italy lol it just happens to be a size in between 2 and 2.5mm or sumthing like that, I happened to have the size in a set of RE allen drivers.

George right out of the gate put the thin shim in, those guys are full of chit because i had some detonation on the piston and head button, plus it should be easier to tune. for breakin take the plug they give u and throw that POS out dont even put it in the motor. I started with 4 out on both needles to break it in 3 out on top and 4.5 on the bottom is pretty much what im at now.

Next run will be tomorrow in my buggy at LH hopefully it will go well.
what plug you running chump?

I already added the shim.

LOL I know Europe doesnt use standard, but dam, I didnt know they made a 2.25 hex.... They just have just used a standard hex. They obviously knew there would be an issue since they include a allen key. needless to say my are being swapped with 2.5's....
run it yet???
Breaking it in now.

I have two cycles threw it so far. I have to say the easiest I have ever broke an engine in.

Mike you are correct the plug lasted 30 seconds....
BTW, with the rZ79 pipe, it made the Rocco 5000 sound like a Savage engine
Its almost ready for the Baseball diamond Joe!!!
LOL!! I was just about to type, "Hows it working out for you G-man?" Baseball diamonds rock!!! I just left one by my place, freakin tore it up tmaxx style!
I ran the frigin bases!!!!!!!!
im running the P3. It is sooooooooo easy to break in, I ran about half a gallon through it today at about 260* seemed hot but phuck it there was good smoke and it ran hard. Im sure the 400ft of straightaway didnt help the temps. I put the motor in my buggy with a 14 tooth bell and with it tuned crappy and with the middle restrictor i got pulled by a JP mod vspec and 15 tooth CB. Not to be out done, I put in the 8mm restrictor and could not even whine the motor out on the straight WOW...
How did the large restrictor ( I assume that is the 8) affect the low end.

I ran a full tank, and I got 12 minutes on it, but that was just blurping around the Parking lot. The power transfer is as smooth as everyone stated....

Miek doe syours sound like a Savage, wonder if its the pipe or engine.... I cant wait for some newb to ask me if I am running a Savage engine in my truck... Because man it is an exact sound.....
Glad to hear your guys are having good luck with your new mills!!

JT ... Fcuk those bases up!!!!
I got about 11 laps around LH and still had fuel left. I dont know what a savage sounds like, i dont run that hill billy crap. The Large restrictors gives it more power everywhere its way too fast in my buggy for any other track than LH
you just need more water so you can lay the power down.....
Roc

you need to get one.... Their Cool:joy: :joy: :joy:
i wore out 2 sets of crime figthers in 4 tanks of gas its VERY abrasive to say the least
Rocco dont need any more motor LOL
im still NR partial.... But hey if you like it, maybe if you get a good life span ill get one!

I heard the exact oppsite
well it was dry, my knuckles even took a beating there isnt a whole ton of traction...George do u have the radical pipe or what the hell is the RZ79 pipe lol
He re-named it .... The radical name is gay and i havent heard the word used this much since 1988...
so it is the radical pipe? WTF im sponsored and cant get one! LOL
Yes its the radical pipe... BTW , they know you took it out at the panther race so they dropped yo azz!!!! Hahahahahhaaha j/k
ya i was about to drop THEIR ass after the panther race, had some trouble today, but my dad figured it out pretty well
Radical engine = Rocco 5000
Radical pipe= rz79 3 chambered tuned pipe.

The pipe seems to work well, I liek the idea of being able to tune it by extending it to adjust for track size and conditions.
