im hoping to get a used buggy roller off of ebay and wanted to know what buggy to look for....thanks.

I hope I get the money for it in a few months
is the mugen mbx 5 a good buggy?
What do you plan on doing with it? Race or bash? My buggy was able to withstand some mild bashing at Berwyn. I didn't land perfect everytime and nothing broke. I am going to the track with it next Saturday and I can tell you how it is on the track.
I cant speak for anything BUT the Jammin FTE ( Factory Team Edtion)

This buggy is so easy to drive dude.... You cant push it so hard because ir very very forgiving...

I was a MT guy and truggy... I picked up this 1/8 about a month ago and im hangin with my buddies who have been into buggy for years!!!

I very VERY happy with durability, part prices/avalability and just how fun it is to drive!
im very very happy with your avatar! you goin to LH today?

See the Jammin will break. Someone with one is telling you the truth.Big Grin
mbx 5 is good.
I will STRICTLY race this buggy.......I already strictly race my revo, so im not a basher. i decided instead of spending money on a basher, i would just get more into racing
i would go with somethin your friends have and can help you with setups.
my friends dont have r/cs for the most part and the others dont really race
to be perfictly honist i would not buy a used vehicle from ebay, find a good rtr to start with that you can get parts for cheep. you know what you got and not other peopls problems.
me my next buggy is going to be the sportwerks termoil. inexpensive, and you can get it as a rtr & atr. many adjustments, durable, and competitive with the right driver .
I meant to say YOU CAN push the jammin very hard! Sorry for the typo...

I remember about 6 months ago rcx had a shoot-out off like all the top buggies and the jammin was barely edged out but the sp2...

I think the mbx5 was like 4th or somthing... I think due to part prices
I was just kidding Rocco. I knew what you meant to say.

I wouldn't look on e-bay either. Look on the grid.
i got mine off ebay.. got a like new ride with over 100 bucks of shizzz on it for 120 less than i coulda got a kick fo'!
and then u spent all of what u saved on replacement parts right? damn car tires jumpin out at ya right LOL Wink
Yep, the Buggy Cage Match in XRC Mag picked 'em Kyosho 1st(cuz ya have to) and Jammin 2nd. But they said, for the money, you can't beat the Jammin.

The info/video from the cage match is on their website, and I still have the magazine.
Figured it out.

Just about.... Smartass!
Mugen is quality stuff. The MBX5 excels in outdoor rough tracks and competes with the best anywhere else. Sure it's an older design (4 years) but it's still advanced enough to be comparred to newer buggys with no problem. It was ahead of it's time you could say....lol Smile
NO doubt the Prospec is nice... But its still over 110 bucks more than a Jammin FTE
ehhh its still a moogen...
How bout a Sportwerks Mayhem roller. Diffs last forever, tuff plastic, plus they part them out on ebay like the revo for cheap replacements...
If you want one, I got one for you Smile Lets talk...lol
Plus a new in box screamen motor for $109
Someone catch me im feeling faint.
