Make sure to come say Hi to Max (Maxximum_44) and I at the RC tent. We are working the event. The track is on York, opposite of Al's.

No... Elmhurst has a fair going on, and the company Max and I work for, on the side, has a portable Onroad oval. A while back, Six posted a link for someone looking for people who know a little about RC to help out with their event. It is basically a Nascar style oval, with Bolink cars. The controllers are rigged in a box, so you have a full size steering wheel, and a shifter to select forward/reverse. It has nothing to do with Al's, the event just happens to be right around the corner from them.
The fair is this weekend already? Time flies. Bzzzzzzzzz. Ill be sure to say hello man.
Those things are fun! I wasted like $20 on em!

Inside the box that we went to the guy opened it up and there were TQ3's in there!

They are free at Elm Fest.

The controller boxes at the one we work are Tower hobbies controllers. I was actually pretty impressed at how they are constructed.

As for the Car show last year, I don't know if it was the same company, Max and I just started working or them in January.
