I got the first five 3 minute runs and one 5 minute run of the "heat cycle" done. After I tried starting the engine after the run before, it would not start at all.

I tried richening and leaning and it won't fire. The glow plug is good. The engine is getting fuel because if I try to start it a few times, I can pour fuel out of the pipe. All batteries are fresh.

ThanksConfusedmash:
flooded?
I don't think so. I cleared the engine because I thought it might have been, but it wouldn't start after that.
did you have the motor apart? is the piston in back wards? sounds like what happened to revo2k.
I dont think he took it apart dude
Many times in breakin a plug that glows well may actully be bad due to the microscopic pieces of metal that have built up on it... Switch plugs make sure your not flooded and start over....

Well, ya never know, won't hurt to ask. Smile

I somewhat took it apart. The piston didn't move.

I did switch to an OD99 because the stock one burnt out.
when ur starting it, if it wont fire after awhile, pinch the fuel line; you are most likely flooding it, then blip the throttle to get more air in and it should start
I will try it tomorrow. Finals the next three days which means we get out early.
finals the next three days for me too bro, gonna be a looooong week ahahahh
Need to get a B average for car insurance and it is going to be hard. I have either like 93 or higher in 2 of my classes and then the rest at 80.12 or like 83.54. 80 is a B
cool dude good luck
mine are all this week, i hope i passed my math final today, if not that means summer school, no rc, and no big vacation with all the family and friends. Sad
Comon dummy...Math is easy! I hope you did gud. I dun gud in englesh and bhiologee...Yeah right I think I flunked those.
lol, good luck kyle.

I already had my finals for math, but then again it was 8th grade so it was easy. ahaha....

next year will be killer
Thanks guys, OK back to his break-in thread. Sorry UE.

It's all good as long as I get my damn engine figured out. LOL
I think Mike has the right answer. I went out to start, pinched the fuel line, and blipped the throttle and it started, but it would die from bogging down. Kinda hard to do with two hands. Just leaned the LSN a bit and it ran for about a minute. Low rx pack. Confusedmash: Charging for an hour and I'll should be back out there.
Sweet....
i hate when that happens, get everything ready then something stupid goes wrong, o well, sounds like things are going on the right track.
Thanks for everyone's help.

I did one tank after break-in so far. This thing flies. I didn't go over half throttle because I still want to take it easy for a bit. Temps under 200. I was leaning it out, but I didn't want to go too lean without going full throttle to tune the HSN.

Thanks again.
what engine you running?
get the temp up above 200. will have my new mill friday!
Novarossi 21BF. Got a good deal off someone on the grid and that is the engine I was actually looking to get.

You take the temperature of the engine on the glow plug right? If I point the gun at the plug it will read cooler than if I do near the bottom of the head.
