on my 3.3 the carb is acting weird. when ever I have it tuned good and its poppin wheelies as long as i make a LONG run and come back in to temp it its about 230-240.............then when i pull wheelies and keep pulling the wheelies i bring the truck in to temp it and its usually 270-285:eek:

so i have to richen the high end to get the temps back down...

its ok i guess as long as I get the tune right but i never had this problem, so does anyone else no why this is happening?

BTW: this engine in the revo 3.3 is a beast. Its almost as fast as the rc 10gt
thanks,kevin
If it is temping at 230-240 when taking long runs, the HSN is tuned right. For the short blips of the throttle that you are using for Wheelies, you are not letting the HSN do it's work, you are only using the LS. If it is getting too hot when doing wheelies (Short throttle bursts) you are TOO lean on the low end. Richening the low end may stop the wheelies, but will prolong your engine life.
Yeah Kevin, what thenewguy said.

It's too lean on the low end, I know both of my needles are actually richer than factory because otherwise my engine won't run right.
yeah newguy when i got home i did that and realized thats what it was..........thanks.

it will pull wheelies just barely in the grass. but it stays at 258-265. when continuosly pulling wheelies and then cools down a little when i make a long run.......those are good temps though.

revo 2k, I know what you mean. my high speed is about 4 1/2- 5 turns out. the new 3.3 needs to be richer than the 2.5r.

but i think the revo gets more fuel time because i get about 15-18 minutes with the 3.3 revo, but with the 2.5 i have a 145cc tank and it only gets 12-13 minutes per tank.

thanks again guys, kevin
