It’s for real! Associated’s long-awaited follow-up to the most popular 2WD nitro truck ever is finally here. The RC10GT2 is an all-new-from-the-ground-up design, but maintains the winning suspension geometry of the original GT. Quick-change hubs are standard equipment, and unlike pin- and hex-interface designs that require an extra twist to get the rim lined up, Associated’s setup is not position-sensitive. An upper deck lends the chassis extra stiffness, and a separate rear brace connects the trans to the upper deck. The transmission uses a stepped idler gear that allows for a more compact gearbox, and the new slipper assembly uses dual keyed pads like theB4/T4 setup.
