for 4 grand im not pedaling

Ok... how so? (besides the price point) I can't see a bike getting any more perfect. It has all top of the line components and completely adjustable suspension up to 6.5 inches. All of this from a pure carbon fiber frame with the frame set (with shock) weighing under 7 pounds and the whole bike weighing under 30. It ways less than my current hardtail!!

Here is a picture of my brother. He is the one in the air.

what makes that worth 4 g lol
The carbon fiber frame, hydraulic disc brakes, . . Dan can tell you more.

They are so much fun to ride.
lemme rephrase that why do u need something that expensive as opposed to something thats like a grand
It isn't what makes it worth $4000... its what makes it worth $7500. That is the actual price... $4000 is what I can get it for.

It is the only bike of it's kind. The frame is variable from no rear suspension to a full 6.5 inches. The shock has endless tuning possibilities, most of which can be switched while riding. It has one of if not the best fork on the market. ($1000 Fox 36) It has the best hydraulic disks (Avid Juicy Carbon) the best components (SRAM X.0 and XTR) one of the best wheelsets... EVERYTHING. It is lighter with that much suspension than my bike with no rear suspension and it probably pedals better in every situation. The components alone would cost about $7000 so for that bike $4000 is a steal. I need to sell a lot of chit though...

Because I already have $2000 into mine and it isn't that great. LoL Granted I am very happy with my bike but for that price that is the only bike I would ever need. It is amazing.
Now if I could just tell everyone who is possibly going to give me anything for my graduation to just pool their money together and give it to me in a bike fund I would be that much closer. Every time I see it I just think of more stuff to sell....

amen brother.
$7500?! i payed that much for my harley. and im not tired when i get where im going.

i payed $75 for a mongose, and thought that was alot.
That is ALOT dan...Jeez...The most I've ever spent on a bike was $352...My haro that I have now.
My 8th grade graduation gift was a trek 4900. I love that thing to death. It is the best bike I ever owned, and we are a big biking family. In the psat 18 years , between me, my bro, my sister, and parents, we have had around....30 bikes. Most bikes we give to my dads employees when we get new ones, so currently we have 7-8 bikes
im on the road of picking up a 26 inch mongoose bike. Full suspension and hydrolic front brake. They got like a 150 model and a 180 model for $150 to $200 for each. Its hard to see spending 200 dollars on something you pedal but I cant even imagine 4000. But every hobby is like this. Who would of thought of spending 2000 dollars for an all aluminum t-maxx when they first started? I thought it was absolutely the dumbest thing ever in the world and like a year later mine was about 98% there to a full supermaxx lol. If you get the bike enjoy it.
Nice bike.

The only thing we all have in common on this board is the love of RC's. We all have separate hobbies besides RC and no one is going to "get" why someone else likes something so much.

My other hobby is buying CD's, no I don't burn them. I want the actual cases that you get when you buy them. Plus I think if you like a band so much to listen to their CD then you should go out and buy their album.
Nice bike...do they make a mens version?? Big Grin

lol thats funny....

yea that is a nice bike...the most i got into a bike is my hoffman..i spent 500$ on the bike and i got about another 500$ in to it...to me that alot on a bike but...to each is thier own...
is a 4,000 dollar bike gonna make any better at riding a bike???
no but i bet u will be as skinny as Joe when u are done Wink jk LOL
Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:no but i bet u will be as skinny as Joe when u are done Wink jk LOL

Yeah... because I won't have money for food. LoL

And rocco... it would not make me a better rider. It would better allow me to use all of my current skill and then build upon it as I would anyway. It is just lighter, faster, more efficient. (Doesn't hurt that it looks nice). I have almost $2000 into my bike right now and I wouldn't say it is anywhere near half of that bike... that is the disapointing part. LoL

And Michowski.... do you have a link to this bike?? Something is not right if you are looking at a bike with hydraulic disk brakes on it for under $200. Just my hydraulic brakes cost me $200 new off of ebay, and those are the cheap ones. My friend just spent $350 on his... EMPLOYEE PRICE!!
sry its just a disc brake. None the less I still think thats pretty sweet for just a mountain bike. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...id=3610588
I would STRONGLY encourage you to get something else. Spend a little more and get a simpler name brand bike that wont be a total POS.
why is that junk?
