Anybody know anything about these? Looks like a good alternative to an extended chassis. Has a 1.2 inch overall extention when coupled with traxxas setbacks...

I think the affects would be differnt dont you?? Concidering the chassis strech changes weight bias right???
Yeah, I think it would come in handy though, the weight change. In a thread a while back, people seemed to like the idea of a rear exteded chassis but it would be too much of a hassle to do with the custom driveshafts and such...This looks to be an easy way to accomplish the same effect. The only thing I didn't like about it so far (by looks) is that you have to move the pushrods to the outside of where they would normally be (look at the pics you'll get what I mean).

I like the idea because then I already have a pair of rpm carriers I can slap up front.

I wonder why you can't use these up front too?
probably becuase they dont want to change the steering geometry, that would be my guess.
These accomplish the same thing as the set back arms, but combining them with setback arms will put the rear driveshafts at an extreme angles which won't be good for u-joints or bearings. Just my $0.02
Just run the traxxas gear and be done with it. Im pretty much done with the upgrading game now. Ive went back to pretty much all traxxas stuff except for some custom mods and some lunsford parts. Id stick with the setback arms and ext chassis.
Yeah but extended chassis is like $140 and these are $55, IDK, I guess I'm cheap like that lol.
extended chassis from traxxas is 60
Is it out yet? I forget.
it will be very shortly
