I have a 2.5R with the stock carb on it, the motor is getting a little hot for my liking 290, i like to keep it about 250, the truck seems to run fine and then it will just seem to cut out, im thinking it might be my fuel, it may be old, i got it for free, i was using 20% and this is 15%, i think im going to pick up some new fuel tomorrow from LH, but i just want to make sure im not missing something. I made sure that all the needles are at factory settings and everything is good.
Restrictor come outta the pipe?

Wait nope it's your tank get the new seal and it'll be better!!!

Haha cheap must run in your family.lol
i got that fixed matt, its still doing the same thing
Fuel line split anywhere?

Did you try retuning???
fuel line should be good, ill check later, ive been trying to tune it for the last few weeks remember at your house?
Ok so you got the orange tank seal now?
no, i told you, the gasket jut got pushed up, it make a good seal now.
No it doesn't. Anybody knowledgeable with the revo will tell you flat out that you need the new orange seal or a similar one from a hardware store. The blue one is crap.
Matt, I did a pressure test in the sink, it seals fine, no bubbles that isnt the problem
I'm gonna put new fuel line on tomrrow and new fuel if it is still doing it then i will buy a new carb body
are you using the carb i gave you?
no i have it
oh ok.............make sure you dont use that carb travis, because it will screw your motor up...................big crack in it
Plug temperature change along with fuel change? Bag that fuel and go back to fresh 20% and see if the trouble persists.
Yeah I will, I might get to LH tomorrow but IDK, I might be getting out of RC until summer, or at least just on the weekends, I have to start focussing on school more.
