Hey guys.. just caught this thread... wanted to say thanks for all the congrats stuff! Smile

Brian
wow this was posted 20 days ago and you just realized it? lol, oh well
So I'm a little slow. Tongue

I don't check the on-road forum that often.... though now that summer is here...

Brian
lol...i was j/k..................what on road rc do you have? nitro? or electric?
2 Nitro.

I have a HPI RS4 with the drift kit, that I'm going to attempt to get running right, and try some drifting at LH when it's open, and I have a Duratrax Street Force which I have been happy with. Both have taken a beating as basher vehicles... I'm sure they couldn't compete, but I don't race anyway... just like to drive around.

Brian
ok, cool

I'm not sure how much onroad racing experience you have so I hope you don't take this the wrong way...

Anyway...If you are thinking of running "drift" at LH when they open the onroad track I can't imagine it would go over that well. The track is huge and drifting would only be really slow out there at that size of a track. Plus if you run a drift car on an open practice day I'd be afraid of getting hit by the 1/8 and 1/10 car running full bore into the corners totally opposite line of what a drifter would do.

It would be cool to see a lot of cars out there. But I would just be worried a drifting car my get nailed in the corners by a onroad car that doesn't realize you will be drifting into the corner until the last minute.

1/8th cars can hit serious speeds and it's scary when they hit something.
