lol@toughtrax!!!
I was amazed at the quality you get out of the box with this new K-truck. If you pull a ST and a LSP out of the box and compare, there is no comparison on the quality of the parts. I do wish the K-truck was a little longer though.

I know, I know the LSP and jammin are $200 cheaper when new but once you hop up the LSP your in the $800 range anyway right?

I guess it's really all preference. If I was to go out today and buy a truggy it would be the K-truck.
the lenght gives the K truck and the TTR ttruck better steering, and the rough track handling is not really effected
Mike
you need to drive my lsp and see if you need any more steering...

I am not bashing the truck it looks good, its just people are always talking turn in, and mine has plenty now. I know its not the best quality, but they are very durable IMHO. Indoor at leisure hours is alot harshing than any out door track and I really havent broke anything that wasnt my fault.
Yeah... the HB is a quality truck... IMO nothing has de-throwned it as the best truggy on the market.. YES it needs aftermarket help. BUT what doesnt these days
well here is what i have seen, u can get them to turn....with throttle....the Kyosho truck Jammin truck and TTR truck turn like buggies. You can drive them which is gonna let u be more consistent instead of having to push the chit outta them.

by the way congrats to kyosho for atleast puting one truck in the top 3...man i thought for sure it would win...(rolls eyes)
Its all up to driver anyways. Jammin truggy just beat the new flavor of the month. Wanna know why? Its because of the driver more then the truck at this point. The lsp got everyone hooked on truggies and made the class grow really big, now everyone else is making the class get huge. IMO its all about drivers at this point of the game. If you can drive good and make the a-main then you can definatly win it as long as your consistant.
I wish there was a stonger lsp team of drivers like the k- team and the jammin team... i think it wouldnt be such an outcast then
if you new owners don't mind i would like to see one up close at the track.
i'm planing on going sunday.
I think if the price was cheaper on the Kyosho, I would pick one up.
Don't get me wrong, I like the LSP alot, but after looking at Tony's at the track. I like the quality of the Kyosho.
cmon rich u can run an xray Wink jk jk lol

That's what caught my eye! the quality is sick strait from the box
I've looked at the CRT and the Kyosho. I was more impressed with the quality of the Kyosho. Thats just my opinion. Now if X-ray makes a Truggy, I'd buy one of those......=P
well like i said before its really up to the driver to win the race at this point. Just buy what you can afford and become a good driver and you can win.
mich i got ur im i was just ignoring u! jk lol im actually goin to bed hahha
From what I read on the grid the Kyoshos broke in the a main...
what broke?
Someone needs to go though and delete all the bs in this thread. Smile
I spent alot of time gathering up and posting the pics, just to have this turn into a who's truck is better then whos's and who's racing where thread!

Kyosho Owners?

With the stock wheels being a zero offset, and no use of wheel extenders are the inner wheel hub rubbing on the upper arm and/or steering links.

The reason I ask is with the hot bodies lsp and the zero offset wheels I had rubbing, I just purchased 2 set of the st1 wheels so I want to see if they will rub also.

If you dont find out sooner, I'll let you know when I get mine built, its coming tomorrow :joy:
Man I dont htink my wheels are going to work. Another guy on another board tried them and say they rub...Damm

Well it looks like I might have 2 sets white wheels to sell, but I will wait til I get them and try them first. But I dont think so, glad I also have two sets of crt wheels comming also...LOL
I just noticed on my truck that the savage wheels dont work. The rub on the front when turning. Just noticed that when I saw half my front steering rod end melted in half.
ill try them on my ST-1 george Wink
HPI wheels need to be dremeled on the inner edge to fit on the ST-R. The stockers are just fine, but you really dont have to dremel awhole lot. My ST-R is close to done, just need to build the shocks and im waiting for my servos to be delivered and get the body from Five-O Designs. I dont think Ill be racing it next weekend either as i have to break in a mill.
