Does anybody know anything good or bad about this mill?

It will be going in a SP2 with the 9886 pipe.
I would avoid it, there has been problems of the head bolts stripping out and blowing the engine.

If you have a 300 budget get the novarossi 21 +5
Alright, just changed the order, got the Rex P5x instead. What percentage fuel should we use? 20% or 30%? Also, besides the torque arms, what other kingz head stuff is needed?
I use 30% and you wont need to add any shims.

I had all the KHZ but the torque arms are good I wouls also get their knuckles, and front arm holder. Then you can get the antisquats and rear toes as budget alows.
Cool,Thanks for your help. Smile This is what we ordered yesterday before I changed the engine today:

This project is comming along nicely. last week we put in 3pk receiver, S9351 for steering and a S9451 for throttle. All thats needed is that mill.... and a 74 fm receiver crystal and a diff rebuild (Center difff is leaking).
Nice list. The P5 is a great engine. I just sent mineout for a pinch finally after around 8 gallons. It wasnt done and had some life left, but since I have some down time figured get it done now.
thanks, we're gonna bash the hell out of it Confusedmash: maybe hit some races even:p:
How much does it cost to have a P5 pinched? (Any different if it's modded??) Just wondering for the future...
were can you get a motor pinched?

I need a trx 2.5 motor pinched.

+1
OS Rocket does them, he has a thread on S-Grid. I think it's around $20 and you just send him the piston/sleeve, not the whole motor.

Dan, it's the same for your mill, just pinch the sleeve and it's good. Yours should last a great deal longer though without the pinch, it's still real tight.
Indeed... I was talking off in the future... I have heard that 8 gallons is not uncommon on these.
OSrocket did my eb modded bs21sb and that was atleast 3 gallons ago and its still nice and tight. no pinch (where it sticks) just smooth comperssion. I feel mine was faster after the pinch than it was when it was before
