Mr. Tune Wrote:No mention of the traxxas resonator? I hear it's supposed to be sweet! I'm looking at picking one up for myself.

If it is that chrome pipe, I think one of my LHS has one. I was looking at it and I think it says for the Jato, but does it matter? They look the same.
Rodzo Wrote:I think this is the same guy that was not much help with shocks for the REVO. I went in, and said I need the "Orange Shocks" for a REVO. He went to where they were hanging on the shelf, and said "All we have is red". I had to explain that they were all red, but had a paint dot on them signifying the color. And the description on the package states the color as well.

Now I don't expect everyone to know everything about this stuff, but isn't that pretty basic? Or am I expecting too much?

They don't sell orange shocks. They sell stock shocks and GTR shocks. Orange springs on the other hand... are a different story. Big Grin

That's what I meant. I am sure I said springs when i was there. That would be even worse if I was looking for orange shocks, and he went and looked through the pile of red springs!!!!
LoL... I know. Just messing with you. The revo is a fun truck. I was surprised how well it raced stock and I never even messed with springs.
Quick update. I purchased the THS pipe. Not to thrilled with it. It feels as if it is running flat now. No more wheelies since i put it on. What do you guy's think
Did you re-tune it?
Needs to be re-tuned.
i was toying around with it. but it was not going to well. when i was trying to tune it i was having problems with it staying running. im no pro with this. i was hoping that maybe if one of you local guy's could give me a hand with it that would be cool. i live in romeoville. i will come to you.Rolleyes
If you wanna come to my crib tomorrow night around 6 or 7pm I could help you tune it. I live in Lakewood Falls subdivision off Normantown Rd. and I55 (go west on Normantown)

PM me if that sounds cool.

I got the THS too, and I didn't notice much difference or none at all...I'm thinking about returning it....IDK if I can but hey...I threw back on the stock pipe and am happy again. It wouldn't stay running for me either. I have a fantom pipe too, so I'll try that and see how well it works and let you know.
