For the record, all my stuff is paid for out my pocket and I make my money by buying and selling rc. When I find a good deal, I jump on it.

I was jsut saying that by the time you buy a mini motor and mini esc it is about the same, maybe 20 dollars difference of getting a mamba with NO MAINTENINCE whatsoever.
yeah, but then to get good performance i would have to get a lipo, then a charger and possibly a powersource.
Who told you you Have to have a LiPo to get performance out of BL?

I believe all this BS about having to run LiPo's with Bl's is comming about because people are buying the Junk Packs that can't handle the loads that Bl's put on them. If you buy good Packs wiht quality brand Cells there will be NO problems at all. you don't need Lipo's for a Bl to Perform at all.
what about orion 1200 nimh packs? they are $40 packs, or should i just go GP if I plan on going with a BL?
They might work, they might not. I could wire you up an 8 cell pack outta them though and then they'd probably work.
nah, I just opened one a few min ago and i could probally sell them and get the money and go get a few GP packs, they dont even have one charge on them, never plugged into the mini t or charger, but if i do go BL i would have to get a new servo, matt do you still have that one?
is some 1 thinking mamba? huh huh r u
Don't have the servo and haven't for months.
ok, was it the hitec one? and how much?
nope it was some airtronics one, $25, and a servo saver for it, $10
