I'm a witness on that statement.....
We will be getting there around 2 or 3. I got to test run the 777 and I did some suspension changes on the SUT. So hopefully it will make a difference. I am hearing that it should be a pretty good turn out.

See you guys Sat
wow, you were up late working!!!
Hey I'll be there by 11:00-12:00 today !
Everyone have fun racing? How did u do?

My night could have went better. Had some tuning issues still managed to qualifyed 4 th for the big show. Then got togeather early over the crossover with ryan  and broke my rear tierod....as they say " thats racing " so i ended up 6th. Was fun though... Smile
yeah i qualified first in the B's and ended up 2nd out of 3 people. My spur blew with one lap to go Sad
n-pede, did you make it out to leisure?
Tex ya i seen ya reving but no go.......shame too cause u looked good out there tonight Cool
He was quickly closing the lead between first and second. I think one more lap would have put him in first.

I had a really strange run of luck... (All Bad)... which kept me down in the C-main. My truck finally agreed with me in the Main, and I took first. As Tex pointed out, my times in the C-main were as good or better than some of the times in the B-main. Maybe next week I'll have better luck from the start....
sry thrash not much i could do in the air on the crossover Sad. Once you get that momentum going it either takes a truck to stop you, or a wall, And i had my brakes on when i hit you but it wouldnt stop lol. sry again i didnt mean to. But thats racing Big Grin lol jk.
N/P Mich Ive broken that tie rod 3 times now so no biggie.
Well not to be a booger, but i was marshalling the crossover when mich took out thrash. It was all hack. I know you didn't MEAN to take out thrash, but you did. And if you don't learn from this mistake now, you will surely do it again in the future. Alot of people wouldn/t take that as easy as thrash did, and quite frankly, I bet if it were anyone else that wasn't in our club they may have gotten bitched out.

Thrash was cruising up to the jump on the little strait away. His truck is not as fast as mich's because mich has that OS18. Mich was about 5-6 feet behind him on the little strait. By the time they reached mid air together (mich has caught up at this point) mich was going sooo much faster that it took thrash out in a mid-air collision.

Thrash, dude, your a nice guy. Thanks for not beating up my little buddy Smile j/k
I was standing in the pit area. I was standing by to refuel for both Thrash and Mich. I saw them both going towards the crossover, and mich was flying behind him. All I can remember, is thinking "This is gonna be ugly"
well if it makes you feel better i got nailed the same way in my first heet except it was from the front and it broke another axle carrier. And it was not on purpose. And you should no your not looking 10 feet ahead of you your just planning on making the next turn or trying to get away from other people. In this case i didnt see you and when i did it was to late. sry again i wouldnt do anything like that on purpose. you no how it is when racing. your just watching your truck and thats it. if i knew i would have hit you or was flying at you i would have fliped the truck in the air to cart wheel over you or something. no hard feelings man i was even going to give you parts to fix it and i still will if you want.
Like Mich said, I'm sure it was an accident. Hey, we're all just racing for fun and we're all friends right?
Little things like this are gonna happen. I can't tell you how many times I jumped over the crossover
ramp just to realize there's a pile-up at the bottom of it and crashed into the pile-up. Mich is right, you
have to watch your own car so closely that it's hard to see what's 10 feet in front of you until it's too late.

It's all good. It's all fun.

Fight.. Fight!! lol... j/k. Its racing and crashes happen. things move fast and its hard to pay attention to everything going on ahead of you.
Just my 2 cents. I think it was a good night. (Thanks Gabe for Pitting for Us). One thing to remember is that when there is an open invitation to anyone with a MT to come out and race this will happen. You will get people that are super serious and are out there to win, and have a fit if they are bumped inappropriately. Then you have guys (like us) that are semi serious but are just out to have fun and enjoy the friendships made. Then you have guys that just bought their Revo/ Savage/Tmaxx Etc and want to come out and race. They have no idea as far as Marshalling, Transponders, racing ethics. This is just something we all have to live with.

Comming from a racing club, I have a bit of experience with this, and we penalize bashing during racing. (kinda like a black flag in Nascar). If someone is faster than you let them pass you, if you tie up with tthem all it does is slow you both up. Also try to look ahead in a turn to see whats in front of you. Remember Rubbing is racing as Robert Duvall said. When I accidently hit someone that I feel was not right on my part, I willusually stop and let that person re-pass me.

There where a few people that seemed to have to speeds, full throttle and full brakes. Remember if you get hung up on the pipe, try to slow and get get your self corrected or stop and let a marshal correct you. I know I got nailed in the ankle when someone was flying down the straightaway and jumped two pipes and never stopped and hit me full throttle (that is just wrong). Also when someone is flipping your truck over or marshalling it back on track. Don't be on the throttle, hold the brake sor idle, nobody wants to get a finger ripped up from a full spining MT tire.

Sorry for the long post, but the important thing is if anyone is purposely trying to take some one out, they need not to be there. This is a hobby and we are all learning and out to have fun.

This is a good one to point out. I have this happen all the time. Besides ripping your finger apart,
a spinning tire will also fling dirt into the eyes of the marshall. (Had this happen. Lukily I was
wearing my glasses.)

i actually saw a lot of people losing control on the straight away. I got hit once from a guy completly outa control from the straight and got hit in the back of the leg. He flipped over the pipe and just jumped it into me. No big deal stuff happens but its those kinda things we need to look out for and try to avoid. Mistakes happen and there gonna happen every once and a while but i think we need to control them first before trying to go wot. I know i went full throttle and lost it a couple times just from excitement around the crossover.

And on my so called HACK, i did offer to replace the parts on his truck that i broke. He didnt want to take them so i figured everything was kewl. It wasnt on purpose and why would i intentionally do that lol? And the offer is still up for the parts thrash. just say the word and il replace them and even do the labor myself.
We all know it was accidental. As they say, hindsight is 20/20. We can all say what we would have done, or what should have been done, but when you are up there in a race situation, sometimes you don't have time react. Luckily it was one of "our guys", and there were no problems.

One thing I have a problem with at Leisure, is "Marashalling responsibilities" I saw too many people get mad because their truck broke and leave, without sticking around an extra 8 minutes to fulfill their responsibilities. When you are done with your race, you should spend your time on the track, just like the poor guys did for your race. In one of the mains, Thrash and I were commenting on one of the marshals. He was Marshaling, and pitting durring a race. In the few seconds it took him to fuel the truck for his guy, someone could have wrecked behind him, and not been flipped over in time. Also, when he was fueling, he left the truck on the track, and even stood in the middle of the track while doing it. I think a little more care should be taken in marshalling. I know it isn't fun, but it's the price you gotta pay to race.
well its goes both ways with the drivers and marshals. The drivers want there cars flipped over but at the same time the marshals dont want to be touching a car thats spinning the tires fast. If the drivers could just stop revving there cars and flinging dirt everywere and stop the tires from ripping skin off a finger im sure the marshals would be doing a lot better job. I for one will not flip a car over if its just sitting there revving like crazy. Ya that sounds rude but im not burning my self or hurting my self just because the guy didnt want to stop revving for 2 seconds. And if your idle is that high hit the brakes its not hard. Its a 2 way street and the blame cant just go to one side if you ask me. And i know who you are talking about newguy. He won the a-main with his revo making 20 second laps. its not really his fault cuz most people were gone by the end of the c and b main. What can you do if it just empties out and you have to do 2 things at once? Its a tough call. But i think one good rule for the track should be if you race you marshal the next race and failure to do so will result in you missing your next race. And if you cant make it to marshal get a substitute. Sounds kinda harsh but i think its the only way to keep everything flowing good at the track. And the marshals need to pay more attention to what there marshalling and not there buddies truck going around the track. I hate that most of all.
