Yup, and it's bad azz,
Went to Chinatown today with friends (good food and GREAT weather) and wound up at a shop that sells Kung Fu stuff. My friends are into Kung Fu and are buying swords and stuff for thier classes while I find the coolest little crossbow pistol kit sitting in the back of the store! I buy it, get it home, and assemble it thinking it will be great to shoot at my dart board. Problem: it has an 80 lb!!!!! draw weight and I can't get the string thingy (the instructions for assembly are in broken English) to hook over the "prod" or bendy thing. Now I am a physical whimp, but I'll be darned if I won't get this thing slinging bolts. I dunno, my girlfriend complains that I don't pay enough attention to her, but darn, I gotta get this thing working. Anyone ever strung a crossbow before? If so, sound off.....Later:confused: :joy:

To string a full sized bow one end on the ground next to your foot so it wont move, pull down on other. Have the string already over the end on the ground. Try the same with that little guy. Put your weight into it.

Yup, that worked mx_kevin. Thanks for the helpful idea. Only problem, now my other half has a legitimate reason to complain about how I spend my spare time :-(. Anyway T/T you later.

BTW...that crossbow will go threw your dart board and possibly threw the wall...

LoL!!! Those things are great. We would take a big box and put sheets of foam behind it to shoot at. It is amazing how accurate they are...

Just make sure that there is no bolt in the chamber when you're cocking it.

One slip and you're nailed......to the floor......permanently.
