Hello,

I have just bought a Yokomo GT4 Onroad car. I bought it off ebay for just a little over 200$ I am not sure this was a great deal but I wanted it and I dont care how much it cost. Here is the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...%3AIT&rd=1 I plan on trying to get this thing up to some crazy speeds in the future. Please let me know if this is a good car at all. Also let me know if it was worth the 200$

Thanks,
Joe
looks great....Smile
i don't know if it's any good, but it definetly looks like it will go pretty fast!
have fun with it
The yokomos are great. If everything works I would say it was a good deal...
Ok guys, sounds good. I am glad I ended up making a good deal. Do you guys know any small block that is a pull start that will get me INSANE speeds, and not be a wallet killer?

Let me know,
Joe
Anything if geared right. LoL The only cheap small block I will reccoment is the OS CV-r .12
Nice find, looks like you got a good deal. I like that style of bodie too.
Hey, sounds good guys. I am really glad this turned out to be a good deal. I am still looking for some engine suggestions that will get me insane speeds and be pull start.
doesnt it come with a motor?
Yes, but if you read my previous posts, it said I am looking to get this thing up to some crazy speeds, and the stock engine is not going ot do this.

these are very good quality cars. the basic kit with no hops is pretty quik but real light thus making it all over the place. the only prob we had with these is going real fast on a straight a way then hitting the breaks it would just spin but better tires could help.. i noticed in the auction you won it had couple upgraded alloy parts. (front lowering shock tower) new i believe that car sells for $249 rtr... as far as the motor its very reliable. not a huge fan of pull starts but the motor seemd to be very responsive. $200 is so bad condition is the main factor... goodluck
thanks for the help. As I have been hearing alot about the OS CV-r .12 I will prolly purchase one in the future to drop into here. I should be getting it tomarro, even tho I bought it a while ago becasue of some reason paypal took like 1 week to transfer the payment. I will get some pics for you guys tomarrow, and maybe a video in the future.
Crazy Phantom look into the dynamite .12's. They are budget motors but fairly quick.
I have a dynamite .12SPD(Paris Dished)in my RC10GT, it screams. Very affordable and pretty fast. However I was gonna get one to put in my RS4, but Dynamite doesnt make a SG shaft model, which means you'll need one of those SG shaft bolt on thingies. I don't know really how reliable those are. Although I think there is one on my T-15 motor now, and it seems fine. I'll have to check the manual.
Hey Crazy, How is that Yokomo GT4 running? Did ya find an engine yet? I am watching one of these on ebay now. I am just wondering how the car handles?
