This could be an Off-Road or Engine thread topic, but because it asks for your opinion/guess....what will the 2.5R engines be worth now that the 3.3R is released. I would like to get a spare 2.5R because I doubt I would buy the 3.3.

I see them brand new BuyItNow for $95. How low will they go?
You can get one for like $75 by bidding as of now...
I think they will still be around 105 new for the engine replacement plan I doubt traxxas will lower them, ebay brand new they should be around 60 I would say, but IDK, cuz some of the guys with the older maxxes that dont want to go cvds and better diffs will stay with the 2.5R, I know I will for the maxx, but when my 2.5R goes that is in the Revo I will probally go for the 3.3
yea i dont think ill be going 3.3 in my maxx anytime soon i dont want to replace the diffs at all..

what maxx? the .15 or the 2.5
They are still a decent engine, they will probably stay around the $75 -$100 mark.
my 2.5 is going to get a 2.5R
diffs still blow with the 2.5's guys. I've blown many with that motor.

Yeah, I know they do, but if I go up to the 3.3 im sure they will go alot faster than with the 2.5. (my rear is clicking now)

We are talking about t-maxx diffs, not stronger revo diffs.
sry, gotcha.Never had diff problems till i went above a .18 for the supermaxx.
