I LOVE steakBig Grin
Last year I bought a half cow from a local farmer about 20 mins south of Joliet. I paid $750 for 400lbs and that included butchering. It wasn't all steak, it was everything from ground beef to roasts to porterhouse steaks. It all averaged like $1.69lb Smile
Moo & Oink.
do you still have some left tex?
I used to work at a meat packing plant on Halsted and Exchange in the back of the yards. I got the job cause my cousin worked there as a butcher. For fun one day they decided to lock me in the freezer for one minute. It was a hot summer day, so when I ran outside to warm up steam was just pouring off me. I quit a week later, I couldnt eat hotdogs for a long time...
Yeah Kevin, I still have at least 50-100lbs left, not sure.
