I guess the flameouts impressed you huh?
never saw one
Watch closer next time
HAHAHAH

I might be going to Kyosho, but I wouldnt give up my NR motors no matter who's running them..........
im not giving up on NR motors either. Im still gonna keep mine and keep going with it but at the big events im gonna run the vspec untill I can get the NR motor going were im comfortable i wont have to touch needles at all. Its definatly got power but im just trying to get that power to come to the motor under 300 degree's
ryan, kendall said that the 21+5 doesnt have alota low.... Did you try lowering the gearing...
its got a 13t bell on it now. I think saturday il be at the track all day to race and get some fuel through the motor and try to get it going good.
you gotta make adjustments according to the weather.

Wasnt it you that said a few weeks ago that you were done with OS motors and how un-reliable they were ????? My my how things change when the local fast guy starts to run them.
better buy the 2050 pipe or your vspec will be useless... SPend 270 on an engine and another 110 on a pipe.
Ryan's Motor reviews

Please keep this thread on topic.... Follow the link for motor talk. =P
at least im not jumping on the truggy bandwagon like some people around here.
Well we havent seen this smiley in awhile!
LOL Ryan......you dont have any room to talk
please explain that for me buddy Wink.
well this was fun ... But maybe we should talk aboutthe pro series LOL!!!!!!!
might as well since somebody cant seem to respond lol Wink
Your not worth his time Mich, that's why there is no responce. Wink

(posted on other thread as well)
Mich you tempted 287F on your Plus21 after a 30 min main, switching fuels in the middle of the main without retuning, low on fuel at the time (in the gas tank) and the motor is still in break in stages.
OF COURSE IT'S GUNNA RUN THAT HOT!

BTW, even the pros will tell you that 290F isn't bad if you have plenty of smoke and the motor doesn't act lean. Run it where it's happy

You do NOT need a new motor right now.
Mitch keep the +5 once its fully broken in you will love it
290deg is OK those temps will drop like a rock at the 2 gallon mark
didnt u say u were running the .9 springs in the clutch? that will take away some lowend
rocco79 Wrote:Well we havent seen this smiley in awhile!
lol
I was originally running 1.0 with mugen aluminum shoes and then 1.1 with mugen carbon shoes which sucked and now .9 with the carbon shoes and it just hooks up and goes at the very split second I hit the throttle on the controller. I didnt really care for the 1.1's
1.1's are good for top end motors like RB WS7II and such. On a lowend motor 1.0's are great or if you want to tame the lowend (like Mike said) .9's

Also Aluminum clutch shoes hook up more than carbons so that's another tuning option.

(I know you vets know this, this post was intended for people who don't know this Smile)
i was gonna make reservations for that motel 6, any one wanna go in halfsies on a room? would be like 42 for 2 nights this way.
That's where we're staying, too. That Days Inn on Lindbergh is actually further away than the Motel 6.

Gabe, John, and whoever else... Want to go find some good steaks friday night? My wife is from that area and I know some great places to eat around there.
The good bar is next to the days inn though... which leads to:puke:
