Air filters with the whole assembly?? Right now I just have the stock revo one on my OS .21 and I'm sure that is chocking it off at least a little bit. I won't have time to run to Al's before work today so I wanted to pick one up at the track....
It's hard to tell what they have since you can't really see what's hanging up.
I didn't know if anyone knew off hand. I would need filter oil or at least be able to borrow enough to do one filter. If the track shop doesn't have any is there anyone swinging by a hobby shop today that would be able to pick something up and I could pay them at the track??? I was thinking of going with the RB setup... I can't remember how much that was. Any other reccomendations??
Dremel out the sides of the stock revo housing to allow more flow.
i kno the shop at the track has airfilter oil and i think i remember seeing replacement foams but not sure about the necks. hope this helps
*Bows to the wise one* LoL If I can I would like to get a nice 1/8 scale setup though... and probably with a pre-filter. If I dremel a hole in the side then air going in there bypasses the first portion of the filter. It could allow more crap into the motor... if you know what I mean...
Dude... Call leisure hours hobby store... They do that parts delivery thing!!! Its free! Tell them you want a MUGEN air filter. Alot of guys run them... Team dent tek, ryan, snakebite ( i think)
Oh yeah... Duh. Thanks Rocco!!
Cool Anytime Cool Cool
Damn. I called LH and they said that they don't have it...
Ok, did you ask what other 1/8 air filters they had????
No because witout seeing them I don't know enough about each one to pick one out over the phone. Whoever I talked to seem really confused too...

Standard Revo filter is super thick because they know noobs are gonna clean it once a month not once a day. Opening up the sides of the plastic holder housing is fine.
Man does anyone have an air fliter to sell this guy?!?!?!?

Call back and ask What 1/8 air filter assemblies they DO have! Or go on a- main hobbies and look at the filters real quick. Pick one you like and call LH and give them the part #!!!
There is a gazillion of them. They all look the same to me. (noob LoL)
all better than the stock traxxas
