I just saw Bernie's post on his site about the Sunday format when the on road track opens. Dirt and pavement will race on the same day, with intermixed heats - onroad, then offroad, repeat.

I just wondered how many dirt racers will also try to run sedans on Sunday?
i know i wont. Gonna be hard enough racing 3 offroad classes without having to learn about on roads. I wish i had the money cuz i really want to race onroad but o well. Nothing like getting down and dirty with the nitro's
Until my boys learn to wrench, I can't see trying to run both worlds. I would be 100% mechanic and zero % driver, and that's no fun! I guess we will run dirt one week, and pavement then next. Plus with two road cars, two of us could run that week! crap more $$$$$.
Well when I talked to him he told me the on-road track wouldn't happenuntil next year.

Ground would have to settle before the pavment get put down so that would not be craking all over.
Unless something has changed since he told me this
From their site. I guess it doesn't specify that this will be happening anytime soon.

Re: Sunday - Nitro Racing Time Changes
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arron,I'll have to see what numbers we get. but you have raced at tinley? right. They have a 5 minute Q and and 5 minute break. 50 people started at 11 done by 5. sound right?
well I want to run a offroad heat in that 5 minute break. so it will be onroad heat 1, then offroad heat 1 onroad heat 2 and so on. you will only marshall for onroad and offroad will marshall offroad. yes it would be a long day if we have 100 onroad and 100 offroad but not much longer then if tinley had 100 onroad on a Sunday with their format ( please I'm not cutting tinley in any way they run a great show that why I'm using their format)
I will ask that onroad use odd number freq and offroad use even number so not to have freq problems.
The onroad will be done first thing in the spring
It's like that voice come out of the heavens.....thanks for the clear, concise answer on the subject, Bernie!
