First off My grandma died last week. I attended her funeral in Vicksburg, MI the past couple days and man it was rough. Good to see family members that I've not seen in years but just really emotional and all. The wake and funeral though was 10x better than any I've been to though. for a small town this funeral they had mad technology that put all other Funerals I've been to to shame! They made a video of my grandma telling her life story playing on plasma Tv's around the funeral home using stories that family members told her and using pictures that everyone brought and they even have a web page for people to view and sign with the videos that they made for her available too. just a great service and very fitting for my grandmother.

Also while I was in vicksburg my laptop starting acting up.. I got the dreaded blue screen a couple times Today my Ancient Toshiba 4080xcdt Laptop (Late 90's PII technology BABY!!) went south. I powered it on and the screen works and everything and it brings up initial toshiba load screen but then crashes screen goes crazy and it reboots and if I let it keep rebooting it freezes completely. I pulled the HD from it and installed it into the POS desktop and it boots fine so thank god the HD is all good but the laptop is a goner. so.. I ordered a mid range ThinkPad Z60t that put me down $1500 but there is a $100 rebate and I'm going to part out my toshiba on fleabay which will probably make me back $100 or so.

I can't wait to get the new computer because it sucks using my moms computer.. Good god the desktop has (no exageration either) 56 icons on it!!! There is only space for 3 or 4 more on the desktop... I just uninstalled the Google toolbar, yahoo toolbar, ran ad aware and found a bizillion critial spyware and ad programs, I'm running the stinger now, luckily she runs Virus protection but its time to get spyware/ad ware protection for her too... This thing is a MESS!!! WTF! grrrrr... Ohh well next week will be better.

Thass cold man....I'm old not crusty!

Six, age plays no favorites and it is enivitable. Sorry for the loss. It sounds as though her life was full and there was plenty to remember about her.

Those who live in our hearts never truely die.
Sorry for your loss John.

sorry about your loss john. I understand what your going through and the best thing to do is just move on and try to only think of good memories you have of her. Nothing wrong with smiling when you think about her.
john, you have my deepest sympathies! its tough lossing a loved one. when my grandma passed away, it was one of the hardest times in my life. all i can say is it will get better. so, let it all out.
Thanks guys.. She had a good run and was married for 63 years and was always full of stories of her life that I'll remember. Right now I'm just glad that she is put to rest and I'm home and able to relax.
