I am looking at buying the crt and I was wondering does it need any upgrades or is it all hooked up out of the box. I dont want to have to go buying mods like I do for the lsp to turn better. Crt owners please let me know thanks.
I know that the CRT turns tons better than the LSP ever could. I think the only mod/upgrade part guys were using was like the one piece engine mount, or if u like bling, the new B.C.E chassis and stuff. Some have said it turns too well, and it gets upset in the rough, but Matt Gosch runs his shocks at a really flat angle front and back. He drilled new holes. There is more info about this in the Jammin thread on the grid.
Ya im probably going to go jammin theres alot more info on it and it turns better from what i have seen.
its a damn good trug from what i hear dont need to do much
I hear parts wear quickly... Crt's dont turn any better than a well ajusted LSP...
Chris

Why you selling your lsp.

I gaurantee a crt will be no better than a well tuned lsp. I thought your lsp has all the upgrades. I dont think I never felt I lacked any turn in on my lsp.

So I am not sure what all this fuss is about lack of turn in. Maybe people not adjusting their endpoints.... Not really sure????
what i meant was the CRT has A ton more turn in, prolly more than u need...
if ya dont need it then whats the advantage?
you can give it to someone else
huh?
for those few times that u may beed the extra steering during a race
lol
I have a few things im going to test, if it doesnt turn like i want it to im going to get a crt.
lol it was a joke
See Joe, they don't expect you to crack wise, just me.
from what I've heard (people who have owned both) the CRT turns 100% better than the LSP........that's hear say though, take it with a grain of salt, obviously Mikey has heard the same thing
yepp Tex is right that is just what I have heard from guys who have owned both, Chris and Matt Gosch both felt that way about the CRT but I have never driven one
ok so from now on im going to pm dave with my wisecracks so he can post them so that people can get my jokes
I just got done with my build and can say that I dont think there is one thing that is needed. I haven't had a chance to run it yet but I should be there in the next couple of weeks and if I get to know you I would be more then happy to let you run mine befor you go out and spend all the money.

As far as part wear I've known people that have run them since the first batch shipped and they have the same amount of wear as any Truggy or 1/8th scaler that they have owned. just my .02
on the wear issue (again hear say) the outdrives have a problem with wearing out rather quick (like 1 to 2 gallons with a 528). That's it though, I wouldn't say in general "the parts wear quick"
out drives, and drive pins, everything else is good i guess, but u know it is still an ofna Wink Smile lol
That is true MikeSad
the outdrives in my lsp are a year old and look new...
but you can't turn! j/k
